The property has a good location, but is an old building that needs painted. Front desk clerks are not friendly. Rooms are tired and worn.

★☆☆☆☆ Worst hotel experience I’ve ever had — Red Lion Pendleton I spent $120 on a room I didn’t even need to stay in I only booked it so I could use the pool facilities. On the day of checkout, they denied me pool access, which I have never experienced at any other hotel. In every place I’ve stayed, amenities are available the entire day of checkout. Instead of working with me, they actually called the police to have me removed and banned from the property for life… for simply lying by the pool. Being from Pendleton, I’m embarrassed this is how guests are treated. On top of that, the property is a shadow of what it used to be: no restaurant or food options, poorly maintained pool, and absolutely terrible customer service. There were maybe two cars in the parking lot, and now I understand why. If you’re looking for somewhere to stay in Pendleton, make this your very last resort.

Check in staff was very rude, disrespectful, made check-in difficult. Spoke with the manager, she was more pleasant but made excuses for her staff. The sofa chair in our room was soiled with black stains on the head and arm rests. We took several pics of our room as proof of the previous damage concerned we'd get blamed for it. Serious warning! do not stay here.

The property was easy off/easy on to the freeway, & comfortable. It would be nice to have more info about the TV channels & how to find the program for which you seek. The refrigerator door opens the wrong direction, which makes it inconvenient (& it was so cold it froze my banana, which was NOT in freezer!)

Our room was clean and super spacious. The beds were comfortable. But the best part was the woman working the front desk. We got in pretty late and she was so friendly and helpful.

I noticed several reviews mentioning that this hotel felt outdated, and I’d agree, it could definitely use some upgrades, but it’s also clear that it’s an older property. I gave it 3 stars because of the initial state of our room. When we arrived, it didn’t seem like it had been properly cleaned. The toilet hadn’t been wiped down (I’ll spare the details), the sink had what looked like dried spit and hair in it, and the shower curtain had a strong mildew smell that made the entire bathroom unpleasant. To their credit, when I brought these issues to the front desk’s attention, they moved us to a different room right away. The staff was friendly and helpful, but the cleanliness of the first room was disappointing and honestly a bit gross. That alone brought the rating down for me.

Poor Hotel Stay

Outdated, hot inside of hotel in hallways and entry, no towels in room, pool freezing cold and unusable. We had to ask for a coffee pot. I will never stay here again even after being a return customer. Restaurant and bar closed but all of the bar lights and signs were on.

Zero food offered. Even though there is a full restaurant on site that is empty. I was told, "it closed 3 years ago due to staffing" Yet, the sign is still on the building outside and the website indicated breakfast being avaliable.
