An off-the-main-track gem. Great renovated rooms. Access to the beach, their Nordic Spa (awesome) and local 9 hole golf course is right around the corner. Fantastic-helpful, friendly staff.

When we first arrived at this property our first impression was not great. There’s so much construction going on right in front that it’s very difficult to enter and exit this very small older looking motel from the outside. Of course that’s no fault of the hotel and nothing they can control. Considering the small older run down appearance of the outside of the motel, the rooms were surprisingly modern and renovated on the inside to be very nice and chic, with all the modern amenities you could want. It just wasn’t as luxurious as we expected it to be considering how it was described in the description. The office manager or clerk that waited on us was nice and attentive. The property overall was just not what we expected.

The staff were very helpful and accommodating. I love the closeness of the beach. There is construction across the street but that didn’t bother us at all. There are lots of updates. Bed and pillows are very comfortable.

The hosts were fantastic and the room was super cute and comfy. They did such a good job renovating this suite. The bed and linens were like a cloud. We never got the chance to use the spa facility however he gave us a little tour and what a cool idea! If you have a chance to stay here, do. We will be back for sure:

This was a great place as rooms are nicely renovated and the staff are very accommodating. The Nordic spa was reasonably priced and very clean. Proximity to the lake was awesome.

This was a very cute motel and wish I had time to try the sauna and cold plunge. Really good attention to detail (lavender spray in bedroom). Nice renovated rooms, clean, comfy bed and I had an over all great experience. Staff was super friendly and helpful when checking in. Kitchen was fairly well stocked with basic utensils and cookware. I used the laundry (coin operated with loonies) which was a big plus for me. The only thing I will say is that I was in a room closest to the road and it was a bit noisy. Staff warned me and told me if I was having any issues they could change my room when one became available. I didn’t need it, but if you are a light sleeper you may want to double check when booking. There is construction currently outside, but I didn’t find it too bothersome. Overall I had a great experience and would stay again - and hopefully try the sauna & cold plunge!

Pleasant stay and loved the spa

We booked a king room and really enjoyed the room amenities. It was nicely renovated and very cute. We also booked the spa which was lovely. It was a private experience and we really enjoyed the sauna, plunge pool and firepit area. Would really recommend it.
