Not nice area.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything
Location: As said - not a nice area. Fortunately we had plans away from the area.
My son had to stay in hotel across the road. Hotel double booked. Very small bed for him total nightmare for him. We were given £30 back for his £55 room. We did not stay for breakfast, cleanliness left a lot to be desired to be honest. A bit claustrophobic. In fairness bed was fairly comfortable. Would not stay again.

Spectacular value for money

Pros: Friendly, small touches such as mat in the bathroom and a shelf in the shower. Light over the bed was very old but worked well.
Cons: Needs professional redecoration.
Location: A few minutes from the station in a cab.
Proprietors very friendly, OK breakfast and rock bottom price. Was given a double room even though I had only booked and paid for a single room. Room was a bit small as it had a huge bed in it, but it was clean. The hotel is very shabby and badly in need of refurbishment, but I imagine the the prices they charge won't cover the cost of updating.

One night stop over

Pros: Very friendly, well stocked facilities in room, nice soft clean towels etc. Massive breakfast left some but only because there was so much!
Cons: See notes above
Location: Chose hotel as it was fairly close to the dog racing stadium (just under 1 mile) where I was meeting friends, one night stay so cannot comment.
The room although clean could have done with a little TLC things didn't seem finished i.e. no boxes covering water/waste pipes and silicone around bath could be better.
