Mid-century modern marvel

Selected this eclectic little hotel based on its reviews and it didn’t disappoint. The accommodations were comfortable and well kept. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Convenient food, coffee bar, night life. Only thing I needed was an iron, but they did provide a steamer. Would definitely return and recommend.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We absolutely loved our stay at Rise Uptown Hotel in Phoenix — 10/10! The vibe is super cool, modern, and relaxed. As a family of three with a 7-year-old, we felt completely safe, comfortable, and welcomed the entire time. The hotel is in a great location — quiet but still close to everything. Our daughter especially loved the pool, and we all enjoyed hanging out at Lylo, the poolside bar — great drinks and good vibes! The staff was friendly and helpful, and the overall experience made our trip so special. Highly recommend Rise Uptown for families or couples looking for a fun and stylish stay in Phoenix!

Checked in 2259 Didn’t get into room until 2340 Someone else was checked into our room - different card number. They needed to check if someone was in the room. It was an older lady, who of course got upset for being woken up. Later found out that she was checked into our room. She ended up staying in our assigned room and we went into her assigned room. We were worried that we weren’t going to have a room at all and being so late, was concerned about booking elsewhere. Out of the four or five people who helped, only one used de-escalation skills like offering us drinks and food which I believe was the manager. Later on, another individual did as well, offered us popsicles or drinks and I believe she was the supervisor. We were offered a free meal and free popsicles. The one we really wanted to give kudos to was Daniel. He helped us out a lot. He didn’t blame others like one of them did. He just focused on service recovery and ensuring we had a room. So, thank you to Daniel.

Disappointing Stay

It was very disappointing. The hotel was not like the pictures. Some rooms are so old and the furniture is shabby. We drove 12 hours to get there, and they had three parties rented out for the pool, so as guests, we could not get two chairs to enjoy by the pool, and the DJ had the music blaring. We asked the "lead check-in" person to help us find two chairs by the pool, and she said there was nothing she could do. We had to switch rooms because the hot water did not work in the first. The only gem in this review is an employee named Miranda. She was not a "lead" or manager but she was so kind, and tried to really help us have a better experience. Miranda should be the "lead" of that place.

It’s a Gen Z mini resort in the city, with a surprisingly live pool area and really neat fire pits. Great vibe. Very spacious and tasteful room. I so wish they had a coffee maker or microwave in the room but you can request a kettle. (Btw a crazy house cleaner decided to throw away a box of mine, stored in the closet, but they found it so no harm no foul).

Stayed at property for the weekend. Room had a strong Oder and had to purchase an air freshener for the room. Also came upon soiled linens and a used needle in between the pull out bed. Not a good experience.

This was THE perfect to stay for a weekend in Phoenix! Everything is in one place, it’s so cute and soooo affordable. Everything felt like a 5 star experience. 12/10 recommend to anyone and will absolutely be back! I never do reviews so if you’re reading this- just book it!!!!! The ultimate girls trip vibe on the weekends so it’s lively but exactly what I wanted for a Fri Saturday!
