Disappointing Stay

The front desk greeting was lackluster as if I intruded into his peace. Not really sure, but was informed that the attendant's name is John. After going to the room that was a handicap accessible that I did not request, my guest and I discovered the bathroom floor was not clean. We informed the front desk attendant, on our way out to dinner. He said it would be taken care. He offered another room; well, we had already gotten ourselves situated and changing rooms would have been an inconvenient option. After driving 3 hours, we wanted to get dinner and retire for the evening. After dinner, returned to our room and immediately noticed it had NOT been addressed. After driving several hours to the airport, I was too tired to wait for someone to come if I called, and I was too exhausted to go to the desk. Another issue I had that there was a lot of LOUD door closing as well as LOUD traffic noises.It disturbed the both of us. Neither of us would be considered LIGHT sleepers. I frequently travel out of PHX for family functions and leisure purposes and I will neither consider nor recommend this property upcoming travel.

Leisure and Local Love

Besides the convenient location and value, this contemporary property was aptly appointed for a desert getaway. Snug and stylish accomodations plus a pool, gym, vibrant bar and shop. Luis at the front desk made our stay exceptional! Helpful, considerate and accommodating. . . team members like him are an excellent example of hospitality and why guests return.

This is a Marriott hotel. Marriott does not disappoint in any way. Hotel is very clean and up to date. Staff is friendly and quickly helpful when needed. I do not agree with $15 per day for parking but Phoenix is a major city, so to be expected. I would certainly stay here again. Very quiet. Room has iron and iron board. Great shopping on Camelback Rd.

There’s less lamp in the room. A/c and heater is old. Bathroom is dark and too small. We could hear the walking noises from the above unit and next door. However, it is very close to the Phx airport.

The receptionsist who cheked me in was not friendly at all. Only 3 conversation he had with me. My name, my cc and then where was the elevator...the guy who checked me out next day was friendlier and made shuttle arrangement to the airport . However when a customer who checked out asked for a water bottlen and the guy responded" sorry, can't give you any"! Wow. A customer was not worthed bottle water of less than .25 cents?
