Amazing resort, even with construction going on, we stayed in the Soran Casita and it did not disappoint!! The private pool for only casita guests was right outside our door!! The jetted hot tub in the room and the walk in shower big enough for 2 was perfect!! The bed had us sleeping the best sleep we have in forever!!

This was our first time staying at Scottsdale Plaza Resort. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. We liked the location and the grounds. The king suite was very nice and loved the peacefulness. Nice to be able to drive right up to our front door. Renovations are happening to half of the property and to be finished by late fall. This did not affect our stay overall. With that being said, some of the furniture in our suite are in need of being replaced. The sofa and side chair have visible signs of heavy wear and tear. The liquid bath soap dispenser was completely empty. The other dispenser was almost empty as well. The WiFi was down overnight and could not use the televisions or the room phones. By the following day service had improved but the phones were still not working in our suite. This made it difficult to contact the front desk for assistance. The king suites are spacious. The location made it perfect for our stay. The property is close to many restaurants, golf courses and retail stores. The staff were very gracious and helpful.

It was nice because I got upgraded to a casita due to rennovations. Was kind of let down as the area was in disarray. Water valve boxes were overflowing the lawn. Gym was unsatisfactory and cups were never restocked the 3 days I was here. If you get a casita, the neighboring unit woke me up by clanging around their closet. I am looking at it as a fluke since they are renovating. Normally my stay is amazing!

I've stayed here three times now and I very much enjoy it. Really my only complaint is that the pillows need to be replaced with new ones as they seem very old and the shower soap bottle wasnt filled. With that said, I do recommend this place!!

This hotel is a great concept but its decor is now very dated and doesn’t feel clean- despite what I think is the best efforts of the housekeeping team. It had just begun a major, and much needed, renovation project when I arrived so no kitchens/restaurants or pool facilities were open. Plus the sound of construction filled the air. I will not be returning again until after the work is complete.

The grounds and decor are a little dated and worn, but the 2 story casitas were comfortable and roomy. Big renovations are underway, but we were disappointed that the main pool was closed during our visit. Be advised that the casitas around the 2nd biggest pool are very noisy with the pool parties. Despite these few drawbacks, we had a good stay and the price was reasonable.

No one tells you that the property is under reconstruction. Our room was full of dust and very old. Everything that they boast about the resort was all shut down and need a repair. Terrible experience.!

The one bedroom condo was great. A little dated in carpeting etc. Beds comfy and nice bathroom . Two pools and the restaurant and bar were closed and not disclosed at time of booking. Zero housekeeping services for three days. Called front desk, and they said that that was “odd”. The resort is in a good location with access to other restaurants and shopping, groceries etc.

We checked in on a Wednesday and were told that they were starting a property upgrade so the restaurants and pool area were closed. The property was clean but dated. The property is huge!

Disappointed in the lack of Communication

I was disappointed because I was made aware the day that I was checking in that the hotel was being remodeled and we only had access to one pool. they did upgrade our room but I would have cancelled as the smaller pool was crowded. The hotel trash bins were over flowing with trash, their were no towels for the pool.
