Good but a few things need more attention

Property was far enough away from town for quietness but close enough to have easy access to everything. Communication could be better. Manager responded after my stay was over. The hot tub works well but needs drained and cleaned and filter changed. When we turned on the jets the water had a stagnant smell and then we seen several pieces of mold in the water. This is an easy fix with more attention to detail. The living room tv has 3 remotes. We never did figure out how to watch anything. Again easy fix, leave some instructions and label the remotes since there’s 3 of them. The fireplace is a nice feature and made it feel more cozy. Overall it was a nice cabin with a good location.

Cozy and quiet

Definitley not super private like some cottages, but good convenient location. It was very clean where it mattered, i dont mind a little dust around hard to get to rafters. But if youre super picky its slightly dated and dusty in some areas. As previous reviews mentioned the bed isnt the best, but not terrible. The arcade game upstairs is a great touch as is the pool table. Didnt use the jetted tub in bedroom becasue the hot tub was great! The kitchen area is nice but no keurig, only 1 wine glass, and pretty minimal on other utencils and items. Also, the vacasa listing said wood burning fireplace, but there is only a gas one. Overall excellent cabin and would stay again! Just being honest so others know what to expect. Thanks again!

Was Disappointing

The hot tub never worked properly. I had to callto have it filled. There were lots of leaves and the jets never worked even after calling maintenance. I rented a cabin for the sole purpose of having a hot tub. And the bed frame was awful. We both walked into the corners thst stick out so far both bsshing our shins.

City slicker get away

The cabin was beautiful. Very clean except the mold on the bottom of the shower curtain. The hot tub was warm, but not hot. The jets on the hot tub were barely functional. The main road up the mountain was less than 40’ from our balcony. Plus there were cabins upon cabins packed in right next to us. Not exactly a secluded getaway like I was expecting and I feel was presented in the listing.

Cute Cabin

Cabin was very nice and located in a beautiful and convenient location to GSNP. There were two big issues the hot tub did not work which was a real disappointment after long days of hiking. Also the thermostat was set on a fixed temperature of 67 degrees which was too cold when the temperatures outside were in the 30's.

Should have been so much better!

The property looked the same as in photos & the location was great! A little bit of money & attention to detail could make this property great! Things like a toaster that works, a few hangers, an igniter so the grill works, dishes in the cupboard that are clean & dry, knives in the knife block, a spatula to flip the food you’re trying to cook. There is also, currently a problem with a pretty active critter in the fireplace chimney that needs to be taken care of. Vacasa was the managing company. They text me back right away when I contacted them about a few of the issues, but then they needed to contact someone local. I don’t plan to rent from them again

It was a great stay and awesome views the only thing I would’ve liked better was if the sink in kitchen was fixed it was completely inoperative. We couldn’t wash dishes we had to basically eat out the entire time the pipe was broken under the sink! Other than that it was great!

If you enjoy hearing animals scratching inside the walls, then this place is for you!

The internet was spotty at best and there was almost constant scratching of squirrels in the wall. We could even hear them scratching while we were in the hot tub. The bed was rock hard and didn't even have a box spring, just wood slats under it. The cabin was clean but creaked more than my Husband does! 😂

Great except kitchen sink

Everything was clean and as described except the kitchen sink. It was surprising with the cleanliness of the home. I took pictures...there were chunks of food in the drain and one piece in the sink. And around the faucet was some debris. Everything else was very clean. The pool table triangle was broken and should be replaced. Another suggestion would be a binder with information for the surrounding area and checkout procedures. WiFi and cell service are so glitchy it was difficult to look up restaurants and activities. I had no idea what to do before checkout. Otherwise, the home was lovely and very well taken care of. Thank you.

It was a beautiful cabin and very convenient. We would definitely stay again. The shower curtain does need changed. It is moldy! Also leaving some coffee would be great! Overall, I give it a 10!

Great Small Cabin

The neighborhood was nice, and it was convenient to the Smoky Mtns state park and Gatlinburg! There isn't really much of a view from this particular cabin, but that's OK, we'll just be more considerate about that next time. It was well stocked with the items we needed, and the furnishings were comfortable.
