Arrived at 4pm. There was a note at the desk "had to leave back in 5 minutes" 15 minutes later a girl showed up with food she had got from somewhere. She apologized and talked to someone one in the room just behind the desk who had obviously been there the whole time we were waiting. The point of trip was to take my kids swimming during a cold winter. Heater was turned off in the pool, pool was 65 degrees, unable to be swam in. At first they played stupid about the temperature. After annoying them enough they had a guy check the pool who said "yeah its 65, but the heater is at 72, it should be warm soon" Really? A huge pool in a 65 degree heated room with 65 degree water will be heated "in a few minutes". So swimming was not available. The next morning i brought my daughter down for breakfast at 7:30. There was 1 guest eating and no hot food left. Woman running the thing said give me 10 minutes and i'll get some food out. The vending machines were out of order and when we went to leave the sliding door wouldn't open. The woman at the desk just looked at us and said, "yeah the sliding door gets stuck, you need to slide it open by hand." The room was nice enough and clean but the accommodations and customer service of these people is absolutely horrible. I would encourage anyone thinking of staying here to stay at any one of the other hotels nearby.

The room was quiet and clean, and they had a basic breakfast. However, they seem to have staffing problems - when I checked in, they handed me a set of towels to carry up with me to my room even though I had checked in after 4 pm and the room should have been ready. Early next morning, the housekeeping staff knocked on my door to do the room!

My room was good, beds were comfortable. The check in was good. I didn't care for the pool, it needs desperately needs TLC, the floor looked dirty and the hot tub water wasn't clear. One of the main reasons why I booked at this hotel. The breakfast was disappointing, the eggs were mushy and the bacon uncooked.

The room was pretty worn out, the carpet and the seats were stained and had some pretty bad burn marks from a hot iron, the included Krueg didn't work, the bed was very stiff and uncomfortable, the elevator stopped working and the roof over the indoor pool was leaking into it. The staff seemed friendly other than that.

The room was clean. Gym didn’t have everything it shows in photos. Only has a treadmill, 2 bikes, and an elliptical that was broken. Also had some dumbbells and a bench. Pool and hot tub were as advertised. Main reason for the 3 stars is the worker at front desk had over 10 people in line when we arrived just before check in time and completely ignored all of us until 3pm. Then when we finally got to the room our key wouldn’t open the door. Took 2 more trips down to the front desk and over an hour to get into our room. And it wasn’t just us with the issue, every single person who checked in were also locked out of their room. Our entire floor was full of people with all their luggage in the hallways unable to get into their rooms. Was very frustrating but we still managed to have a good time.

Overall cleanliness of the hotel is definitely on the lacking side. Doorways were quite dirty and the elevator was awful. Carpet in the hallway on floor two was dirty and bunching up in spots, most likely from poor installation many years ago. Wall paper in hallways and in room 247 were pealing at the seams. Lighting in the rooms was quite dull and the amount of dust on the tv stand/ refrigerator area was is bit disappointing as this showed it hasn’t been thoroughly cleaned in quite some time. Room wasn’t serviced for an entire weekend and had to go to front desk for toilet paper as that was almost completely gone when checked in. A much different stay than two years ago when staying a weekend for kids hockey tournament.
