Staff was friendly and helpful but not very organized. Room was not properly cleaned and smelled like smoke. Pool is in the middle of the parking lot so not very pleasant to use. The hotel is nicely located next to the wharf and close to many restaurants. The discovery trail runs in front of the hotel and was very nice. Hotel felt way overpriced.

This property seems to be a renovated motel like facility, given the price, I think it warrants way more stringent criteria for grading. The renovations are nice and the view is great but not sure if the price aligns with the stay.

They charge for a luxury hotel room but you get motel conditions. Bathroom had black mold all over the tile and tub and the floor. Seems the room was renovated but the bathrooms are still from the old motel. Pillow cases had dirty stains, there were hairs on the sheets, both the towels and the sheets were grey in color not white. Felt unsanitary to sleep and take a bath. I wiped the nightstand myself as there was a large yogurt like stain on it and black dust. Noisy location from the black ball horns. No noise insulation, you can hear everything around your room. Doors bang loudly. Lobby doesn’t have a restroom. When I wanted to get coffee, it was out. Asked for pool towels said they were out.

Time to renovate...

Very dated hotel and smells like wet dog. The computer systems and key card machine was not working when we got there so there was a mob waiting to check in. The rooms need a serious refurbishing, very dated, circa 1990's. Great location and central to just about everything. Restaurant and bar service was lacking and eventually had to leave for dinner to get service. It's too bad that this is the best that Port Angeles has to offer because it could be so much better.

Booked a room months in advance for 3 people and when I got there I was first advised they didn’t have a roll a way bed and that I would have to go to Walmart and get an air mattress. They finally found me a room with 2 beds. No room service for 6 days. The door to the room had a huge gap at the bottom so when they were outside blowing the side walks all the dirt went into our room.
