The unit I stayed in was very simple but provided basic essentials—a clean bed, though only two pillows were supplied. The bathroom could use some attention, as the toilet tank and lid were tarnished and the flush button had a hole in it. (felt like I was in a public park toilet)
The internet was not working when I arrived, though it was restored within about an hour after the owner/manager’s son contacted the provider. Unfortunately, it was down again the next morning. Reliable internet access is especially important for international travelers, so this was disappointing.
The guest in the unit next door was a smoker, and I often had to deal with the smell of cigarettes when he stepped outside to smoke. There was also a bottle filled with cigarette butts and ashes left on the bench, which detracted from the overall experience.
On a positive note, the shower was excellent—hot water with great pressure.
