Nice and clean

Nice, clean room with big refrigerator and cooking facility and friendly front desk attendant. They offer free breakfast, but this huge hotel put out 4 little cups of yogurt, 4 cupcakes, 3 oranges and about 8 packets of oatmeal. I was there @ 6am both days so i didn’t get there after all the goods were taken. They did have plenty of coffee still when I left for work @ 6:30. They appear to have security in the parking lot. It is in a sketchy neighborhood, but the grounds looked good and I had no worries. I would be happy to stay there again.

There is some construction in front if the hotel, so we missed the entrance the first go-around. The front-desk team could use some remedial customer service lessons, as they were not very welcoming. Twice I had to wait several minutes for the rep to stop working on whatever their taskwas at tge front desk before they would assist. Breakfast was advertised, but was severely lacking. It was supposed to last until 9:30 am; I went down at 9 and there was coffee and two granola bars left. One of the crew added a couple more granola bara and packaged muffins, but thats all there was. That said, the room and facility seemed clean. Overall, I can't honestly recommend this place, especially as Portland has a LOT of other options.

homeless tried to break in the room

one of the staff members was cool, the guy who checked us in was nice but other than that the the hotel was a bad experience, they breakfast is non existent even tho they advertised a breakfast, some people working at the front desk don’t even try to help. The second night we were there someone tried braking into our room, probably someone homeless since there are so many of them around the whole building. We reported it in the morning and all they said at the desk is she would let someone know.

TERRIBLE, do NOT stay here! We did not feel safe here at all. The area is laden with all kinds of sketchy people. There was a woman putting up a fuss not wanting to leave the lobby and the police had to escort her out. Also, a guy roaming the parking lot and property, looking like he was trying to steal from whatever source he could steal from. The lady who checked us in was nice, but overworked, and the room we checked into was dirty, musty and neglected. I don’t normally like to waste money but we just had to leave because of the overall experience. Save your money and stay in Vancouver which is only about 10 minutes away. It’s night and day from this place.
