We love the location. The property itself is nice. The pool was pleasant to be in. The room was nice and clean. The only down part to it were the beds. They weren't comfortable. A topper would help and definitely new pillows. But overall, it's a nice and quiet hidden place.

Peaceful and easy place to stay

A few things I would recommend. Paper towels for the kitchen would be helpful. Making sure the pots and pans are clean. They were literally stuck to the shelf they were sitting on. The bed was great, towels and soaps are more than adequate and I was able to get more coffee since our stay was longer than the two bags of regular that were in the room. I would also recommend that the abandoned car in the parking lot isn’t a good thing for guest to see when they first arrive. It was disconcerting. But our room was quiet and we enjoyed our stay.

I loved Sierra Inn as a nostalgic Motor Inn type place. You are not paying for luxury, so enjoy the experience. The room was clean, had a fridge/freezer and other amenities like hairdryer. The room and area was safe. The property had a cool little sitting area. Lots of antique and thrifting very close by. And great restaurants right down the street.

Good stay in Prescott.

Good stay in Prescott. Room had a microwave and small refrigerator. Didn't notice any cleanliness issues. Property appears to be kept up and shows pride of ownership. No problems at check-in. The key to this property is value. Its a decent place to sleep while visiting Prescott for a weekend. Ive stayed here before a couple years ago and didn't have any issues. That being said at the price point of 80 to 90 dollars a night its a fair deal, i wouldn't spend any more than that. It is what it is. Overall, i would stay here again.

For the most part Sierra inn was a good stay. Our room was pretty big and clean. I was actually really impressed with how the room looked because the hotel is a bit older. But the room was very nice. You could tell that they worked hard recently to refurbish the rooms. And everything worked like it was supposed to. The downsides to the hotel are probably mostly due to it being an older hotel. The pool was really cold. We only tried it for about 45 minutes before it was too much for us. The grab and go breakfast wasn’t much, but it makes sense since they didn’t have the facilities to handle more. I’d recommend travelers invest in a portable stovetop if you want anything more for breakfast besides a few fruits and some granola bars. And lastly, I recommend anyone staying to bring their own pillows. The ones they had were pretty flat. Overall though our stay was pleasant. The staff was good. And if you are on a tighter budget, this inn is a good choice. I absolutely would stay here again.

Poor renovation

The room #24 had potential; however could tell the renovation was not done by a professional at all and was unfinished. Floor between kitchenette and bedroom had no threshold and I tripped twice. Counter above small fridge had no brace so it literally was pulled away from wall and sinking down. Doors banged up, place smelled strongly like floor glue or fake flooring. Comforter had hair and debri; had not been washed. Tub felt like it was sinking down by the drain and tub did not drain well. There was no stove; just a dirty old portable burner. If you just need a place to sleep it will do. Just watch your step.
