When i got there it was before check-in time, so i wasn't able to get to room, BUT i found out later that my roomate for the weekend HAD already checked in and the room was ready, so they could have let me up, instead i had to wait till late at night which was not optimal.

I recently stayed at the Courtyard Princeton and overall, my experience was disappointing. While the room itself was relatively clean, several issues made my stay less comfortable than expected. The hotel itself felt outdated, and the bathroom was just OK — the shower wasn’t fully functional, and the tub didn’t seem very clean. One of the towels even had spots on it, which I found pretty disgusting. In the room, there was no mailbox, and the bed was missing a quilt, making it feel incomplete and less cozy. Housekeeping was also an issue. There were no bags in the trash cans, and the trash wasn’t picked up during the day while I was out for work. Even after I checked out, no one came to collect any trash or refresh the supplies. I also had to pick up my own towels and request extra sheets, which was inconvenient. Overall, I expected more from a Courtyard by Marriott property. Given how outdated and poorly maintained everything felt, I hope they address these issues for future guests.
