Stayed here days before and it was a great stay. This one, not so great. I checked in and my room was easily over 100F degrees. The unit was set to heat at 68° but obviously the thermostat had failed to a runaway heat condition. I tried setting the unit to cool. It became apparent that the thermostat thought the room was 60° when it was actually somewhere above 90° by this point. I tried opening the door, I tried turning it to fan only. I tried turning the unit off. I could not get the room to cool down below about 80° by the time I wanted to sleep. I went to the front desk and asked if I could switch rooms and was told that I could not. I had meetings all day the next day and I didn't sleep at all. I almost slept out in my car. It was not handled well.

No maid service, TV and Wifi rarley worked. The complimentary breakfast was coffee, 7 old nutrigrain bars and the same 2 package of hard boiled eggs that were past its expiration date. The beds gave 3 of us a rash.

Upon arrival my fiance and i were greeted by friendly and helpful staff. The check in was smooth and easy. The room was very affordable for a Saturday night. This hotel is close to federal hill, and the Providence performing arts center. Also the twin rivers casino. The hotel had a great selection of snacks in the vending machines. Nelly, a very kind and personable hotel worker, made sure our room was clean and made sure we had everything we needed. We appreciated the complimentary grab and go breakfast on our way out the next day. Check out was a breeze. All in all, this hotel is a great and affordable place to stay at.

The room had hard dust on different areas. The tv did not work 2 out of 3 nights because of the WiFi signal. The beds shook for minutes at a time (almost like something big was on and not bolted all the way). The continental breakfast included 3 packs of oatmeal (an hour before breakfast was supposed to be over) on one day, and the next day (only 1 hour after breakfast time) they had more packs of oatmeal. I will say, the few different employees in the front were helpful.
