I hate to leave a poor review of the hotel as it is clear that the employees work hard to keep it clean. The room was neat and clean and smelled of fresh cleaning products. But the hotel looks old and dilapidated and in need of a renovation. The elevator was beaten up pretty bad. The pool had exactly one lounge chair, and despite the attractive picture online, it also it pretty run down. Our room door lock would not open without some serious finagling and four or five attempts. The cleaning lady showed us the 'trick' to get the door to unlock. As I mentioned, the employees keep the hotel clean, but it is worn out.

Need a smoking area. Saw smokers standing in the rain smoking. Need a couple of benches out front. One of the breakfast ladies was very enthusiastic, energetic and helpful.

The property needs updating. Beds were ok. Floors dirty. You have to ask to have your room cleaned the night before. We did, they didn’t. Ice machines didn’t work.

Our room did not have a shower curtain or face towels. When we tried calling the front desk, our phone was not hooked up. There were no cords, therefore no phone call could be made.
