This resort gets a C overall. It was just ok. Nothing to write home about. We will probably not come back again. We travel about 10 times a year to explore different resorts so this my honest opinion and especially having been to many other resorts in the area.

We travel just about every month to different resorts. So we have certain expectations. This resorts get a C for being average. It wasnt a horrible reort but it was great either. The staff was polite but not as friendly as other resorts. The waiters seemed a bit entitled and not as eager to serve. We had to chase our waiters each time while relaxing by the pool. I dont think i will be coming to this resort.

Great comfortable stay for your family.

We just finished a 10 day stay and we loved it. This is a great place to bring your family. It's in an awesome location with everything you need. The beach is great, great mall next door, restaurants nearby, grocery close by, and a short drive to downtown. We went during a very busy time and the service was still amazing. We ate at the restaurants for lunch quite a bit and it was always good and served well. Special thanks to Melany at check in for a very friendly and smooth experience and also, Magali in sales for her courtesy during the breakfast consultation.

Great property , central to the Melicon and the Marina . Soriana grocery store a block away great to grab food and drinks great for beer just not premixed or wine selection poor . Very close to the airport , taxi’s available right at your hotel . Security is good and all in all a great small resort on the beach . Our building was a little out dated but love the eight floors better than the towers around it . Had a few items on our kitchen that were missing and took a few days to get them stocked -IE wine opener and dish soap ,paper towel but the staff were great about it . Would stay here again .

We had not been to Villa Del Palmar since 1990 (35 years) so it had changed a lot. The check-in was quick & Melane was very efficient & pleasant. Our room attendant, Angela, was wonderful. We didn't eat or drink on the property as I enjoy cooking but I did think the prices were high. The only things we were unhappy with was a lack of enforcing the pool rules (no diving, etc) and no saving chairs. Unless we were up & out at 7am if was difficult to get a spot. We were also unhappy with being approached by the concierge on arrival to try & get us to a timeshare presentation. There were alot of noisy kids in both pools so it was not relaxing. We did not like that vendors (peddlers) were allowed to approach people sitting in the beach area. Other resorts have a roped off area (Villa Del Palmar in Cabo san Lucas) where they are not allowed. All in all it was good.

We had a great time at Villa Del Palmar. It was very family friendly. There was a water slide and kids club that the kids loved. Every hour there were also adult activities. We were able to see most of the nightly activities. The only issue we had, which is why 4 stars and not 5, is that we reserved a 2 bedroom suite which was supposed to come with a w&d because we were traveling with children, however, we were given 2 individual rooms next to each other. That was definitely not going to work. The supervisor did little to help us, so I had to speak with the GM. She was able to help fix the situation, get us the rooms we reserved, and made our stay as enjoyable as we hoped it to be. The hotel is close to the marina, which is where we launched to Las Caletas and other tours. The rooms we had had a little kitchenette, which made it easy to have little snacks for the kids. The wait staff was very helpful and friendly. Overall we had a fun experience and do recommend it.

Clean room, overwhelming sales pitch that started at the airport for the “ new Hotel coming soon “. The guy at the airport about drove us crazy begging for us to take the tour after we canceled and finally blocked him! The bar tenders were extremely rude and annoyed by us over at the beach bar. And we are really nice people that tip really well. The panhandling/ locales trying to sale you something was non stop on the beach!! You could not relax for one second. So annoying having to sign for every single thing. Also annoying having to check give your room number just to leave the premises. We left a day early. We will not come back to this over pushy expensive place !!!

My stay at the resort was wonderful love the property. Luis our host upon arrival was very nice, helpful, very easy to talk to. Great service with check in receptionist juan very nice. The down fall is if your not a retired person, this place isn't for you. Also they took us on a tour to valla del plamar flamingo beach resort very nice place. DID NOT LIKE how we were treated with Fernanda and her boyfriend just because we didn't Purchase anything at the moment she was very Persistent and didn't like the results. So she had to call her boyfriend over so he could give us a low blow and how live my life and the chocies i make talk about my mother that they have no business talking about or even knowing about my Situation. Over all i DID NOT LIKE THEM OR THEY'RE ATTITUDES. The original property we stayed at was amazing. Food was great. servers were also very nice, pools were clean.

My husband and I enjoyed this property very much. There was an area around the pool that had many activities during the day with music playing. If you wanted something a bit more relaxing you could go to the pool closer to the sand which is where we spent most of our time. We enjoyed all the food and the staff was amazing. We will definitely be returning.
