Barceló Bávaro Palace - All Inclusive offers 1402 accommodations, which are accessible via exterior corridors and feature minibars and a safe. Rooms open to balconies. This individually decorated and furnished accommodation has separate sitting areas and includes dining tables. Beds feature premium bedding. Bad service, very poorly trained staff, the day we arrived they gave me the wrong room, after a long time they changed us to the one we bought, 5 hours to check in, the premium and level service are useless, The elevator in my block was broken all week, the floor was cleaned with some strange soap that was really slippery, and I fell one day on those stairs. we couldn't eat in any restaurant before 10 at night and we tried to make a reservation from the first day, the truth is a very bad experience, I won't return to that country.

The rooms are very run-down, the entire property is very old, the pool is falling apart, and the service is generally poor, except for the specialists, who are better there, especially on the Hoyo 19. The service at this restaurant and the food were good. The beach is very bad, full of people. The reception takes ages to give you an invitation, and often they give you keys that haven't been activated or rooms that haven't been cleaned. The entertainment is quite good, and the buffet food is good, but the service is very poor. In short, I don't recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a good beach or who isn't used to such poor service.

La atención en las habitaciónes y en los restaurantes fue genial pero la comunicacion del lobby es malisima no te explican nada los maleteros te llevan al cuarto y no te explican nada del cuarto yo personalmente tengo el estatus gold y mi cuñada el statua platinum y cuando lo dijimos nos dijeron q ese hotel no aceptaba esos estatus tuvimos q pagar un upgrade parabla habitacion y los creditos para el spa nunca nos lo dieron y cuando hago el check out me dice otr persona q si aceptaban todos los beneficios de expedia o sea q nos mintieron descaradamente o sea q no vuelvo y recomiendo ese hotel a nadie mas.

The property was great! The staff was outstanding! However, there is natural humidity in the DR and the room had no ventilation system which had every inch of the room moist along with my belongings. We kept the air conditioner on along with the fan but that wasn’t enough.

Extremely disappointed. We stayed at this property 8/2023 and were so impressed. So much has changed since then. All food is the same, there is no variety. Every meal was essentially the same. We lost weight at an all inclusive resort. We arrived the day of our anniversary and couldn’t get a reservation to eat. We had to eat at the buffet where we waited 30+ min to get water from a server. Never refilled. We decided to go to our room and sleep instead. Not the vacation we had planned for. Customer service not was it was before. We noticed staff only tending to Caucasian guests and completely ignoring the rest. This is a conversation myself and my husband had with multiple other guests who felt the same. My room was not upgraded but downgraded. No view whatsoever. The AC was not working properly and called the first day we got there, they promised to send a technician who never went despite multiple calls. I was given a $100 voucher for spa, when I tried to use it, the receptionist said there was a $50 fee to use the voucher! Really?! Kind of ridiculous. Shows very redundant. Playback singing and dancing nothing more than that. I had a medical emergency where the receptionist advised to go to the “medical center” on site. They sent golf cart to get me. It was a scary time- to be sick while in a different country. The doctor insisted on assessing me and charging $215 to take my blood pressure, temperature, and ask a couple of questions. Had no resources to help.

It was ok but the pool could use a good cleaning. The check in time was way too time consuming. I buffet’s could use some different food choices.The rooms air conditioning works to good it was 64 degrees in our room. But the weather was beautiful,most of the staff were very friendly.
