The resort and rooms are beautiful, but there were two major issues. Vegetarian food options were very limited. Despite repeated requests, it was difficult to get consistent, appropriate vegetarian meals. Staff often did not seem to understand the requests, and protein options beyond pasta were essentially nonexistent. The smoking was also excessive. Tobacco smoke was common in many areas of the resort and significantly detracted from the experience.

Our initial room 5032 pool view close to beach had no AC,3 flights of stairs (no elevators on the property ), and we had roaches as well . Our butler was fantastic and tried his best to make it right. We spent two nights burning up (28Deg C we slept on balcony ) Finally after telling the Butler ( Ray ) he had to move us or we were leaving ...they moved our room to a first floor in Building 54 . It was further back and not close to the main pool or beach but it was sufficient for the rest of our stay . Room amenities are ok , the staff was excellent and really do a great job ! Food was ample and served with a nice flare - the a la carte restaurants on property were a nice dinner choice. El Dorado Steak house was by far our favorite and Indian and Sushi were next ....pretty good ! Bar service was great and the liquor is top shelf ( except no Anejo Tequilas ) . CHIC was totally worth the 60.00 pp ! The show is a few hours and the menu is served durint the entire show with several courses ( small plates but delicious ) . Bar service in the Cabaret Theater could be improved ...very hard to get a cocktail or glass of wine during show. Get there early and catch the Pre-show outside the entrance. Grab a chair and drink and the dancers come outside and perform some very cool acts !

This is the first time I've ever been so disappointed in a resort. The worst was when the Internet went down and they didn't have a menu available in any restaurant ! The staff was pleasant but English was a struggle. Management had only up selling their travel plan on their mind. Rooms are greatly in need of repairs. We have been to the DR many times and didn't struggle with the language barrier at other resorts. One star would be greatly over rating our experience !!!

The resort is large, staff friendly and helpful. The food was below 5 star status. Lots of restaurants closed. The food wasn’t very good. Small portions, often cold, bland. And my partner got food poisoning and was very ill for 2 days.

Beautiful place. Amenities are ok. Food was good. The hibachi place awesome... 10 points. The mediterranean dinner was just ok. The Peruvian Japanese place was good. I enjoy the SPA 100% Massage was awesome. Recommend it 100%. Unfortunately, some of the servers didn't have the attitude that I am used to have in this paradisiac beach.

Everything from the moment we arrived at the resort was perfect! Randy our butler was amazing! He helped us with everything we needed and wanted. We felt very special as soon as we walked through the door. The rooms were beautiful and very clean. The entire resort is impeccably maintained. Beautiful pools and that beach is heaven. This was our 1st trip to the DR and won’t be our last! Definitely booking TRS Turquesa again very soon! Thank you for a perfect vacation!

Room was clean, bar service was friendly and prompt and our butler service with Rodny was exceptional. Butler service is a unique feature of this site and makes the trip relaxing and easy. Rodny continually checked for any requirements and addressed them as well as all our dinner reservations. Enjoyed the restaurant options and food was very good. Only item that caught us off guard was that a pool view room is really more of a garden view with the pool in the background. We thought we would be pool side and were surprised to learn that this is considered a swim up room so better knowledge for next time. Pool view should really be called a garden view room as that is what it is.

We really enjoyed our butler service with Rodny. This was a unique feature we had not had before. He was very attentive and took care of all our reservations and requests. Room was cleaned daily and looked great. Bars had quick service and friendly bartenders. Entertainment staff was always engaging customers and letting us know of activity availability but not pushy about participation. Only minor item was our room type. Thought that pool view would be next to the pool but it was more of a garden view with the pool in the background. Did not realize that swim up was what is needed to be right next to the pool and will consider this on next trip.

Our butler service with Rodny was top notch. He checked on us daily and worked diligently to resolve any issues we had as well as making all our dinner reservations for us. Sit down restaurant food was great and bar staff was excellent with fast service and great drinks. Location to the beach was good and we enjoyed using it. Just wish we would've understand room designation better as we thought we were getting rooms pool side as they were pool view but they were more garden view with the pool in the background. That was the only item.
