Upon arriving we quickly noticed the room was not there cleanest. There was a very disgusting smear of something (looked like dried vomit) on the back of the bathroom door. The shower had hair in it and there was globs of shampoo on the walls. The bedspread also had stains on it. Then a staff member knocked on the door and before we could even answer the door they proceeded to let themselves in with a key card! They apologized and said they didn’t realize someone was in there. How did the hotel not know, if they had literally just checked us in less than an hour ago. Finally, after we arrived back from our late night event the room key did not work. So we had to go all the way back downstairs to have it reset. Overall it was just not a stellar stay at this hotel.

Convenient, walkable location to explore downtown Rapid City. Ample parking and friendly service. Breakfast bar with high top chairs in the room with mountain view was very nice. Clean hotel at a very fair price.

Comforty beds, nice location to walk to restaurants. Free parking!!! There is a Keurig in room for coffee. Expedia perk of food coupon for breakfast $15. Not really a perk since coffee is $3. Go to Mud Hole restaurant where you can breakfast for $5. Be prepared to be woken up by trains who blow their horns 2x a night. This effects all hotels in this area.
