I hotel was old and needed updating. There almost no amenities There was problem with the light wall sockets. Over all it was good. Staff was helpful and friendly The hotel was clean in all the arears we used. . The breakfast was not good.

Third is a place with extended stay and I didn’t know that or I wouldn’t have picked it. It was the cheapest rate in the area ($98/night) and I should’ve known. The “free breakfast” was toast and instant oatmeal packets. The place was dirty. The double room was very small, furniture was real old, scratched up/bit broken and the carpet was filthy. The air unit was full of dust and some mildew inside where the air pushed out. I didn’t want to touch anything. The bedding was clean though. The mattress was about 6” thick and felt like a lumpy sunken in child’s naptime mat. There was no over head lighting, just 2 lamps and one didn’t work so it was dimly lit. Never would stay here again!!

The only thing that we were disappointed in was the breakfast, I understand things have changed since Covid but it is ridiculous that if your didn't get there at 6 then there was nothing left and was not replenished. The staff were fine but I want to recognize a desk person named Levi, he went out of his way to help when asked and was very pleasant.

Every time I went to the front desk no one was there. TV not working, moved rooms and that TV periodically didn’t work. Uncovered Outlet covers, very unsafe Light beside bed not working Toilet when flushed would fill-up like it was going to over flow each time. The free breakfast was two kinds of breakfast bars and drinks. Door to room wouldn’t shout unless you placed weight on it and push hard each time. The floor around the chair was dirty needed a vacuum When I got into bed I found an orange sticker between the sheets. It was a terrible experience I would never use this hotel again.

Where to even begin? I rented here because of the Days Inn brand, the price and the fact that it had a gym. I couldn’t have been more disappointed. The gym had been removed. Well at least there’s a free breakfast, right? Only if you like Kellogg’s cereal bars because that was all they had. No eggs, no cereal, no muffins. Nothing. And this was in the middle of the 3 hour breakfast window. The room itself smelled moldy. The toilet didn’t flush unless the handle was continuously held down and the tv gave the people on camera orange faces. Oh, and there was a multi-unit ambulance call while I was there. The general ambiance is of tenant hotel/center of “other than legal” activity. The staff was nice enough but it is obvious that this property is not being invested in and is badly in need of refurbishment. Never again and I would advise visitors to Reading to pay more to stay elsewhere. I wish I had done so.
