We did a last minute Reno trip for MLK weekend and J resort had availability for the days we chose from all the hotels we looked at. We stayed in the Birch towers which was close to the main entrance, Hannah’s table and the casino floor.
Pros: Clean, modern bathroom that had huge LED mirror. Big decent shower. Overall the room was clean, bed was comfortable, also had a mini fridge to store items. Had most cable channels, MTV, Comedy Central, hbo etc. The room had its own thermostat so we could control the temp in the room. And a decent view from the 9th floor.
Cons: We didn’t receive fresh towels in the morning when they asked if we wanted some. Extra door in the room that connects to the room next to us, which we weren’t fond of. Thin layered blanket so bring your own if you get cold easily.
Overall we would stay here again if we needed to. It was clean, and comfortable enough for our last minute trip. Check in was easy and so was check out. Would also recommend this hotel if in a budget compared to circus circus and the others near J-resort.
