The room was clean and it was up to standards ,the staff offer a great service always willing to help and it was great that there was always someone at front desk. The breakfast was amazing, great variety and very convenient
It’s all we expected from a clean, updated, well located hotel in Rio. Staff was great, room was comfortable and clean. Great option for flying from the Santos Dumont airport. We’ll be back!
My room was in good condition. The concierge was very nice. However, housekeeping left much more to desired. They never did one thing right and never provided me with wash cloths. They also never cleaned the shower 🚿 during my stay of 10 days.
I stayed just over 2 weeks and really enjoyed my stay. The facility appears new and modern, with a beautiful rooftop patio. The room was beautiful: daily housekeeping, confortable bed, great water pressure - no complaints. I also enjoyed the location, very easy to take the bus or subway to outside tourist spots but also getting a more local experience in the centro area. It is close to Lapa - the party district (sometimes music can be heard at night so I would bring ear plugs if your a light sleeper). Next door there was construction, and they worked at odd times and were very loud (this was the only inconvenience but this has nothing to do with the hotel). Otherwise, everything was perfect and i felt safe as a solo traveler.
I had an issue with dates when I first booked and hotels.com tried to resolve it by phone for me to no avail. The property would not answer or if they did the hotel management would not be available. When i arrived at the property I walked in and found both managers at front desk. I told them about my issue and they promptly took care of it.

I wish I could give this accommodation zero stars and that’s solely for the utter lack of empathy shown by the front desk staff and especially a woman named I think Ali?. When I walked in Feb 17 after being assaulted and robbed right around the block from the hotel, and announced it at while she was at the front desk, she could not give a toss. Neither did the security guard. No one offered any assistance or concern whatsoever.
Even when I asked her to reach the manager for a first aid kit, she seemed bored. He in turn seemed surprised, but again ZERO sympathy offered.
This dismal attitude is on par with the rubbish attitude of the reception in general. When you walk in no one says hello, and when you leave no one says goodbye. They seem completely and utterly uninterested in the guests.
Absolutely appalling “customer service.” These people should not be in business or should be retrained immediately.
The area is complete rubbish so 100% do not recommend staying here during carnival as that that was when I got assaulted by walking to get lunch around the block from the hotel. There was almost no one around in the immediate vicinity of the hotel, special later in the afternoon.
I do not recommend staying here even during no Carnival because even though the immediate area is busier during the work hours (the Italian, French and German consulates are literally around the block!), it’s really unsafe at night and you HAVE to take an Uber.
Muito bem estruturado o hotel. A recepcionista que não foi tão educada, sequer olhou na minha cara durante o check-in e nem estava lotado, só tinha eu no check-in. Mas no geral foi tudo muito bom. Galera do café com um sorriso no rosto.
