Everything about the hotel was great...convenient, comfortable room, safe, pleasant atmosphere and pet friendly. However, the room next to me had a barking dog and the owner kept leaving dog in the room. I travel to dog shows and had 2 dogs of my own with me but knowing mine will bark if left unattended, I always take them with me out of repect for fellow travelers. This was not the fault of the hotel but I wanted to vent about the selfish, disrespectful acts of other dog owners.

Looks like an older hotel but it is extremely clean and conveniently located from the interstate, the McAfee Knob trailhead, and not too far from downtown. Lots of good dining options, not walking distance but within a couple miles drive. Price is right also, can't get any better.

Hotel property was well maintained. Our room was very clean. Seemed like maybe it had been updated recently. Beds were comfy and room temperature was easy to control. Hotel is conveniently located right off I-81.

Stayed for two nights. Spoke with staff who was nice at check in. Room okay, had fridge and microwave. Very quiet. Hotel right off I-81, but no food spots local. Grocery store sketchy and had security. Only issue, it looks clean but bathroom, bedroom and bed frame had splashes of dried liquid. Headboard and nightstands greasy and food on door handle.
