My experience was not good. First, the single Queen room listed was much smaller than expected. The room just barely had enough room to fit a queen bed.The room smelled musty, probably from the dated carpet. The essentials seemed adequate, bed was okay, bathroom in decent shape. Overall though the room felt small and dated. The room had a door to the next room. I could hear every word of that guests phone conversation. The room next door had someone constantly knocking on his door ( 3 or 4 times during the night) until after 1:00am. Okay, so the hotel may not have control over guests knocking on doors at all hours of the night. I only chose this hotel because of a reasonable price, and only intended to use it to grab a few hours of sleep to break-up a long drive. The guy in room 109 ensured I didn't get much sleep. I checked out at 1:30AM and left. Overall, this "hotel" barely meets budget standards. The name Wyndham used to mean quality. This hotel misses the mark.

The opposite of relaxing

Hats off to everyone working at the front desk. They were awesome. The room was clean, but everything about this hotel was worn out. You are greeted with stained, torn worn out carpet on stairs that feel like loose plywood. Another greeting would be the every kind of smoke smell coming from the hallways that lead to the exits. There were ants in my bathroom but otherwise clean and shower was nice. The metal bed frame was weird as heck so if you hit it with your foot or moved to get off the bed it sounded like you hit an empty metal oil drum. And let's not forget the guests partying in the hallways, and the belligerent guest who couldn't figure out his key card so he proceeded to cuss out everything and everyone who could hear. Then let his dog run loose down the hallway while he screamed at it.

The parking was good. The hotel looks very nice from the outside. We were in a handicap room that we did not ask for. And due to the shower being used there was water damage on the floor so there was a big black rub put over the damaged area. When we stepped on it you could hear the noise from it. We're not happy about that. The beds are very small. Uncomfortable. We were on the first floor. Could hear the neighbors a lot. We were there for two nights. Me probably would not stay again.

Although the staff was amazing and went above and beyond to improve our stay, the hotel was just grimy to put it mildly. There was an odd odor to the room when we walked in. The carpet was dark, dirty looking and upon walking barefoot on it felt cool and damp. There were patched paint in different areas throughout the room on the walls and ceiling. The bathroom floor was tiled and not tiled properly; it wasn't smooth and you could see where bits of dirt, hair, etc had fallen through the cracks. The corner baseboards were crusty from peeling paint. There was also no lamp in the room.

Do NOT STAY HERE. I had a dead mouse under my bed, changed rooms. The 2nd room had wasp. For the rest of my stay I was killing spiders and bugs everyday. There are visible spiders homing in the staircases and lobby, there is no elevator so pack lightly. They tried telling me the bugs are from kther travelers. I received NO reimbursement!
