Horrible and rude front desk staff . I called about a week after my check out date to follow up on my deposit refund since I had to cancel the card I paid with and the front desk guy was SO RUDE . He was very sarcastic so I asked him to not give me attitude . When I asked for his name, he hung up on me. I called again and he did the same thing and hang up. I called again and no answer . Ridiculous and unprofessional .

The first night we stayed there, the room was with a bad odor of smoke, even though it's a non-smoking hotel. Breakfast items were very limited, pretty much just yogurt/apples/and carbs (ex. toast, cereals, waffle, muffins).

The staff was very kind and attentive. Be forewarned that there is no elevator but I was able to request a room on the first floor. The sheets and bathroom were clean but the room needed to be aired out a bit when I got in, probably because I had requested a room change. The hotel was quiet and convenient. Right off the freeway, easy to find and park. Lyft to and from downtown was easy. Took 5 mins of driving to downtown.

I would not stay here outside of the Aftershock days just because of the seedy area. Homeless and other riff raff all around. Luckily becasue of the concert, there were always cops and rockers around. No issue with the hotel itself tho. Clean room and friendly staff. Parking lot is super bright but I still worried about my car.

Staff was very nice. all of them. the area is a nasty one. the homeless and drug addicts are EVERYWHERE. INCHES off the property. the walls/floor are paper thin and you will hear EVERY foot step from ur neighbors. above and next to you. if not for the staff and overall cleanliness of the place my review would of been FAR worse.

The room is descent. The part that made this room the best possible choice was location. Literally down the street from Discovery Park, 11-15 min walk from room to venue entrance. Midtown Sac is so cute, lots of restaurants, about 10-15 min drive, ~$8-11 Lyft.

Got a non-smoking room but I had been smoked in.. was a terrible night's sleep.. I told the front desk it had been smoked in and they just said okay. Wasn't willing to help relocate. Also a lot of drug use around the hotel. Just beware isn't really family friendly.
