We wanted a getaway for a couple of days. This is our 4th time staying at this hotel and we absolutely love it!! We won't stay anywhere else in Frankenmuth!! Everything is amazing!!
Very nice staff, clean room and premises. The 3rd floor halway smelled like wet paint for 2 days even though i didn't see any. Very nice though. The city of frankenmuth felt like a tourist trap though. Not the hotels fault
Nice place but...just bit pricey for what you get, and don't get a room street side if you can as it's kind of noisy. But the worst thing by far is the parking situation. Their parking garage is small and spaces very narrow and close together. Have fun parking if you have a larger SUV or truck. I can see several scrapes on cement pillars where people have scratched their cars trying to squeeze into a parking space. For the parking situation alone I doubt if I would stay there again.
Me and my husband come to Frankenmuth ever year for our anniversary. This was our first time at this hotel. David checked us in and was extremely kind and informative! The hotel is beautiful, clean and quiet. The free breakfast had lots of options and was perfect. Our only issue was the beds. Let me preface by saying I suffer from chronic pain and we are used to a sleep number bed. We had 2 queen beds and both were extremely uncomfortable. We ended up sleeping in separate beds for more room to try to get comfortable. I was up most of the night though. My husband was able to sleep a bit more but he can sleep anywhere. I so wanted this to be the hotel we stayed at for years to come because everything else was perfect! But unless they invest in better beds we just can't.
Great atmosphere...ladies who worked the breakfast and the happy hour from 5-7 were awesome...very friendly. Cant wait to go back.

This is a beautiful hotel with a beautiful view overlooking the river.
The beds are soft, and very comfortable. But if you have a bad back like me, that may be an issue. Otherwise they're wonderful!!
There were only a couple of issues though.
The refrigerator didn't work and it took a couple of hours for Mary to fix it. Which would be understandable since she was the only one working at the time.
The lady who served breakfast was quite unfriendly. I don't know if she needed another cup of coffee or what.
The rest of the staff was very friendly and attentive.
Overall, we LOVED staying here. I don't know if I'd choose this hotel again though.
I selected the river view for serenity. But you could hear the trucks going by even in the back of the hotel. I can only imagine how noisy it is in the front. Plus, we were rudely awakened at 7am by construction vehicles with their "backup alarms". It was horrible!!!
But the view is very peaceful and pretty.
The only other problem I had is that I was overcharged by $50 from the price of what I booked on Expedia. And if course the Hotel says it's Expedia's fault, and Expedia says it's the Hotel's fault.
We paid for an upgrade fee to get a river view.
Walked into the room to find no windows. One door with secured blinds so you couldn't open them beyond 1/4".
Only way to see the river was to crank the heat to 80 and have your door open
The continental breakfast had a great selection. The eating area is very clean. They have a great patio overlooking the river, and our room had a balcony overlooking Main Street.
