Picked this place based on everyone else’s reviews and was not disappointed! Had a great stay with everything we could have needed and a super helpful host. Convenient to the Middlebury Snowbowl where my kids were skiing. We also were there when it was very very cold and we were quite cozy and warm at night. Would definitely stay again!

We booked two nights but the weather stopped us from arriving on the first night booked. I didn’t know I had to check pet to apply fee when booking but texted owner about the dog and said we would settle in person. Doc’s Lake House is on a beautiful and quiet lake. My family and I regret not staying longer! It is well-stocked with anything you might need (coffee, spices, breakfast items, etc.), which was lovely! Two separate fire pits and water crafts were available for entertainment. The host met us when we arrived and showed us around. He’s very nice and fun to talk with! It was such a wonderful stay!

We were very pleased with this rental! It was very clean, everything worked great (kitchen, TV, shower) and the property owner was very accommodating and friendly. We didn’t get to enjoy the lake due to the time of year but I plan on going back. I highly recommend!

Great Vermont Lakeside Getaway

Gary’s place was the perfect quaint cabin for a Vermont getaway. Great location right on the lake (definitely looking forward to visiting again in the summer) and not a bad drive from Killington and Sugarbush. They were very accommodating and communicative hosts who made sure everything was just right.
