The service is unparalleled. Which is what keeps me coming back! However, for the price point, the physical amenities of the building are disappointing. Duct tape holding the carpet together, dysfunctioning elevators, and torn curtains.

This was a great hotel to stay during our trip to see antiques roadshow. It is in the perfect location right next to the temple and across from the train. Staff is very nice. Rooms are comfortable. Could definitely use some updating. The room had a big window with a view of downtown but the windows were very very dirty. It was a bit dusty too. The hotel is priced right. I would stay again.

Very clean older hotel. Our king room was a little small - hard to have 2 large open suitcases. Bathroom needs a new tub - it was majorly chipped in a few spots and the caulking was half missing or discolored. My shower went to all cold water 1/2 way through! I shut it off for a few minutes then when I turned it on to rinse off it was warm then back to the temp I had it at! My husband had no problem when he took his shower. Not sure what that was all about.

The bathtub and the sink were backed up on the first night. I have to go to the 7th floor to shower. they were supposed to fix it first thing in the morning. When I inquired about it at the front desk, the receptionist did not have a clue and said she would talk to the manager about the compensation. We went out to visit Salt Lake City without washing and fixed up our hair. I left for the airport the next day at 6:30 am and inquired about the compensation, the receptionist said nothing on file.

The property is very old. There was duck tape on the walls and carpet on our floor. The hotel is not very clean. The staff was very nice. There are additional fees for use of the property. No breakfast as most hotels have. They did have a lady selling things in a breakfast type area. The hotel is right across the street from Temple Square. So that convenient if you are in town to see the temple. Overall the rating with expedia was not up to the normal standards I normally get within their system.

The Plaza is the only place I’ll stay in Salt Lake City. Its proximity to Temple Square and shopping is second to none. The staff is super, too. I love this place!

Ok my husband was having open heart surgery finding out on Friday morning that not one of the staff at check in or out gave me a paper saying I stayed in the motel getting slammed with a 39$ parking bill I almost had a heart attack!! Friday evening I paid 20$ then another 13$ Sat morning!! No free breakfast, we are senior citizens and cant afford to pay for parking won't stay here again !!! I stayed two nights!! Unless you want to pay additional for parking avoid this place!
