Our room was clean and bigger than we expected. However the front desk staff, were not very friendly. They werent forthcoming with any information about property and not too happy to make suggestions about the area.

Check-in & out were easy with smiling staff. Hot breakfast was not self-serve, which was nice, although the food served wasn't much to our liking with much too much garlic on the avocado toast, and rubbery waffle. We did appreciate that fresh towels were provided immediately upon request and that no cleaning person was in our room while we were out, so no worries about anyone rummaging through our things. The room was a nice size, beds very comfortable. The Casablanca Inn was conveniently located for our purposes. Covering an outer wall, the mural depicting Bogart and Bergman is a lovely accent to the simple beauty of the building.

Nice alternative to high priced, chain hotels.

Very good breakfast with lots of options, cooked and served for you. Good location, large room, and free parking. The only thing weird was the large number of people who appear to be living there full time, which makes it seem like you're intruding on their space or crashing their party.

Amazing stay with a very close walk to the beach. Awesome staff and relatively quite property - main road is right there, so could get loud with bikes / buses but other than that absolutely amazing.

As mentioned in many prior reviews, the breakfast staffer was very helpful and pleasant. The Balcony room was clean enough but could really use an update. Breakfast: Instead of frozen egg sandwiches a tray of scrambled eggs and roasted potato’s with bagels, toast, English muffins and cream cheese as options would be a great upgrade! Pool Area: it’s very nice but could just use a bit of organization and tidying up in the morning and afternoon. Resetting the chair backs and lining them up/spacing them out would be really impressive. A cute hotel that could be really great with some attention to detail.

It’s like a Motel 6, rooms with dark dingy carpets. Front desk lady rude. Shower soap empty and was asked to replace/install ourselves. Limited staff. Breakfast was ok. Location was convenient. Waited 20 minutes with other parties at checkout time with no one at front desk office to assist.

The overall stay was nice. Although, when we went to ask the front desk where breakfast was being served it was about 8:30am and the lady at the front had frantically told us that it wasn't open yet due to their breakfast lady not being there yet, even though breakfast was supposed to be open at 7. We walked back to our room and as we did we saw where the breakfast was and there was a bunch of people in there eating as well as a lady doing all of the food. We were super confused and misled, the front desk lady seemed very confused and off.

Not worth it at all

The room was ok, not as nice as the pictures that were shown on the website. It was supposedly a remodeled room, but there wasn't anything special about it or look like it was remodled or newer. The shower door would not stay closed so we had to use wash cloths in between the sliding doors in order to keep it from sliding open, the remote for the tv didnt work well, there was no microwave in the room, the parking was super tight, the phone in the room did not work at all so I had to try calling the front desk using my cell phone. The reason I said "try" is because I never got a hold of anyone. The customer service was pathetic. They have no clue what "customer service" means.Erin was super unprofessional & rude. I would never go back.
