The value is great, and I felt safe with the security on site as I don’t normally stay at hotels with exterior halls and room access. Staff friendly and kind, and handled my post midnight arrival with grace. My room and the amenities were clean, good variety at breakfast. My only suggestion would be a newer mattress as it was not the most comfortable but I was able to sleep.

The bed was comfortable. Good size room. Very easy check in. Nice to have the continental breakfast. Did feel outside noise was a little difficult through the night. The toilet is VERY loud when flushed. Will say in line with airplane air space but was tolerable. We were there on the weekend so at night tough parking in area. But there were extra parking in a garage right around the corner...very convenient. All in all would stay there again.

Pros: Our room was a spacious King side bed . The room is very clean with no smell. The bathroom is small but clean. There were basic toiletries like mini soap , sample size body lotion . The shower /mini tub is good side with complimentary body wash, shampoo , conditioner bottles hanged on the wall . They have on site Parking lot and under ground parking garage with secure gate in n out. Parking rate here is $19 night which is great comparing other hotels which charged $50 per night . There is mini microwave n fridge . It’s adequate for one or two nights stay . Great location ( right in SD downtown, Gas lamp district and Little Italy area. Cons: the mattress seems old as the cushion is pretty soft and in need to replace new one . However, we slept thru the night and was comfortable in our bed. Maybe , we were too tired after whole day activities. The decor in room is outdated, very plan and simple . In need a facelift . No swimming pool or hot tub on the property .

the bathroom/shower was dirty, bed was creaking like no tommorow. the parking lot situation was a disaster, people were double parking and blocking peoples cars (mine). the manager or reception didn't care at all! it is what it is for a hundred dollars and change, but never staying here again

This hotel is in a good location… many good restaurants and stores surrounding the property. Trolly is right down the street if you don’t feel like driving. The staff is super friendly and the room was cleaned well for us. On site parking is convenient, just not great that you have to pay $19 a night. Also, parking stalls are very small. The room is not in the best condition possible. Rusty curtain rod in the shower, cracked bathroom door that wouldn’t lock. Dresser doors were also cracked. Beds were ok but the pillows were uncomfortable. Maybe use the money you get from parking fee to start fixing the rooms a little and replace them pillows? Free breakfast is a plus. My kid loved the frozen burritos. Not the healthiest but I am not complaining. Can’t beat free.
