The room itself was okay. The only thing was that the parking was very tight to where my car got even hit my another car while I parked there which made me not park my car there again for the following night. My next door neighbor was very loud and was disturbing all night. My shower was so disgusting. The bathtub looked like it had never been cleaned before. Over all this was not a great hotel to stay in.

Good hotel. Comfortable beds. Excellent location not far from the Gaslamp. Good breakfast and lots of parking spots. Downside is the carpet, particularly in the hallways. Carpet looks like its been there since the 80s. Aside from that, good stay.

Not a place for families

On our first night there was a person yelling profanity outside of our room on the sidewalk. The walls are paper thin, so you hear ALL of your neighbors. The hotel is not large vehicle friendly. Parking is $38/night. The beds are not comfy. The windows in the room open, and do not have screens on them. Breakfast was good, but on our last day there was a homeless person that came in with her dog. She was cutting in front of everyone and packing up a ton of food. She seemed to be on drugs because she became belligerent, and her dog was barking at people. Lastly, it is 10 minutes from the airport so you hear planes all night.

My staying in Holiday Inn downtown San Diego

The hotel is nice, and my room was good, but we couldn't fully open the door because they had placed a door stopper, which made it difficult to enter. The bathroom was okay, but they need to renovate the corridor, as it looked old. The hotel facilities were decent. Breakfast was very good. I must mention the hotel front desk – Mira is so adorable and kind. She is always smiling and very friendly.

There is a long hill to go up and down so it may be difficult for those with disability. I slipped once due to the floor being wet and slick so there is a possibility of sliding around.
