This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I checked in late at night to a room that smelled like mold and water damage. The odor was overwhelming. When I pulled back the sheets, I found cockroaches in the bed — absolutely disgusting. The neighborhood felt unsafe, with drunk people yelling outside during the night. I was supposed to stay for two nights but left after the first because it was unbearable. When I tried to contact the front desk the next morning, it was closed. None of the phone numbers worked, and no one ever called me back. I dropped the keys in their box as instructed, but that was it. This hotel is filthy, sketchy, and completely unprofessional. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone

ABSOLUTE HEAVEN!!, I am so impressed with every single thing that this hotel has to offer! I had read some reviews, and i wasnt so sure, but i mean it is great! And as an ex Flight Attendant, I have stayed in so many hotels, all over the world. Hotel Aqua Mar is certainly now my "go to" while im in Southern California! I am now disabled, and every accommodation was made for me. My service dog was welcomed with open arms, the managers at the desk were ever so nice! Jamal went out of his way to be sure i had everything i needed. The housekeeping and maintenance staff were also very kind and friendly. Microwave, fridge, coffee maker, all in my room! Loved it so much, i extended my stay!

LOVE LOVE LOVE! I read some poor reviews and I don't have any idea about that! I was treated with ABSOLUTE respect and dignity at all times! The rooms are very clean! I had a coffee maker, fridge and microwave in my room! All functioned perfectly! There was a desk and chair, if i needed to do work or not, but it was right next to the bed, perfectly placed! I have traveled to many cities, as a flight attendant. I am now disabled, and my service dog was with me, and every accommodation was made for us! The front desk staff and housekeeping were top notch! Im sorry that now everyone will know how FANTASTIC this hotel is! I highly recommend this hotel!!

The beds were very hard and uncomfortable & made so much noise with any movement you made. The sheets super thin. AC worked good. Room size was good. Staff very nice and welcoming! And there’s a lot of stores, gas stations, things to do nearby.

The pictures on orbits make this place look very nice. It’s basically a slightly cleaner super eight motel. It’s more expensive than a super eight motel, but if you put this place next to a super eight motel, you’re not going to see much of a difference. The bed was hard as a rock, the road is right next to the rooms and was very loud all night and all morning. The room was clean, the towels and shower were clean.
