My husband and I enjoyed our stay the rooms were nice and clean. The beds were comfortable allowing us a great nights sleep. The pool was great it is a very family friendly place to stay. We would definitely recommend staying there.

Close to the zoo and beach areasand old town. It has a fun design and atmosphere. It felt like you were back in time at nice hotel in the late 50s or early 60's. Very nice pool and spa.

Absolutely perfect for families

I’ve been staying at the Kings Inn for many years seen many changes many upgrades. The only thing I think I would change or request to be changed is that the rooms are all fitted with really small pillows. And my first night I got a crick in my neck and I believe it’s because of those small pillows and I know pillows are not expensive. I buy mine new every year and they’re about $10-$12 apiece. I’m sure if you buy in bulk from the supplier You’d probably pay half that but other than that it’s a family oriented place to stay the kids love the pools in the hot tub and the waffle King next-door really is the icing on the cake. Can’t think of a thing that’ll keep me from coming there again next year or sooner.
Steak and eggs at the waffle for King with the side order of small waffles cannot be beat in the prices half of what I would pay where I live in Palm Desert the food is amazing

Great overall stay, nice people around the pool and in the hotel. Yet the front office was extremely rude, my kids 2 and 8 years old got yelled at for being too loud while we were checking in. I did not appreciate it. Hopefully he humbles himself a little and understand they were just being kids.

Property is great a little older but clean and amazing staff. Great parking pool looked amazing. The water pressure was amazing. Bathroom door would have been nice to open the other way.

The accommodations were comfortable and affordable. The check in staff was not very friendly: he showed me where my room was on a map only after asking him. However, he did not give my own map. Check in was at 4 pm so we had to wait 2 hours before getting a room. The restaurant was only open certain hours. The bus line is right out front but only goes to Old Town. The other line to the mall and other places is a full block down.

The property was something out of the MAD MEN set! It is great honestly and the photos in the Expedia ads are why I chose this hotel - They HONESTLY depict what you will see when you arrive! The staff (even late) was super nice, attentive and helpful. I have a bad elbow and my room was on the second floor. There wasn't an elevator in the lobby so the check-in staff asked if he could help me.... I was taken to the elevator (which was a gate close model - classic!) and escorted to my room - You cannot beat service like this! I stayed in the hotel for 5 nights/6 days - there was a clean/vintage bathroom with tub and shower - Clean towels/hairdryer/shampoo/conditioner/bodywash on the wall in the shower (so you do not need to bring your own, it was a good brand) - The bed was perfectly made with 4 pillows and an extra blanket if needed. Rooms include a large mirror for getting ready and the closet doors are mirrored - TV is the only amenity that was a bit aged in the room - a flat screen but not smart BUT if you have a portable Roku stick you are still good to go! - Also included are a side chair and table, two night stands and a work desk - it was perfect for my work trip! The Pool is also very nice and there were a number of tables w/umbrellas or loungers for sunning. I did use both for 1 day of my trip. Last item - UBER picks up SUPER quick from this location - there is a VERY high end mall less than 1.5 miles from the hotel just ask the staff! (good food and shopping!)
