I never do reviews but this was my first time staying at a Motel 6 and it was a horrible experience. I had a reservation made a month in advance for 8/22-8/23. Traveled from LA to SD. Upon arrival there was long line of people checking out. When finally given our room my husband and I rushed up to drop off our luggage and quickly get ready as we were running late for an appt. The halls were dirty, the room smelled like it had been closed for days in the heat. I turned on the air and realized it wasn't running properly. I thought it was probably because of the heat and it hasnr been used and needs some time. 25 mins in and we call from desk and tell them that the room doesn't have functioning AC. They offer a new room, we take our belongings down stairs at this point it's late for our appt we opt to leave our stuff in the car and just bring it back up when we get back later. Big mistake. Hours later we go upstairs and the new room is HOT the AC DOESNT WORK. THERES NO AIR CIRCULATION AT ALL. I felt like in as suffocating. We call from desk again and we are asked to go back down they offer a different room but we just heard 3 other people complain and leave for the same reason. At this point I'm feeling sick my blood pressure is high, I just need to rest, we asked for a refund and we are told to talk to Yoli the GM tomorrow morning so she can approve it. It is now Tuesday 8/26 and she denied a refund, failed to even offer a partial or at the least a credit of some sort.
