They have reserved parking/ first come first serve. You have to pay $10 to reserve a spot which means that if you get there late you have to park elsewhere or they’ll tow your car even if there’s space available. They wouldn’t check us in because the gentleman in front of us had to go move his car and they had his reservation open. So we had to wait because they were too lazy to back out and start his check in again. The towels are tiny, barely covered my 9 year old. Bathroom was loud. No fridge. No amenities. Did not look clean.

1st room was dirty, roaches and bed bugs on the bed, it was hot …..2nd room was a little better but the bed was dirty, had some dead bed bugs and someone’s hair all over too ….checked out immediately the next morning and went to another hotel ….area isn’t too safe especially with all the transients around there too, so I had to be super cautious parking my vehicle there ….i do not recommend anyone to stay there, pay a little more and go someplace better if your going to be staying in San Diego a few days

Considering this Motel 6 ? ... Don't do it

Online pics of the hotel are considerably better than what you will find in person. Somebody needs to buy this property, demolish it and start over.

It’s a place to lay your head for the night. Nothing spectacular. Nothing horrible. DTSD has it’s own problems and this property does it’s best with handling them. Not a lot of homeless hanging around outside, which was nice. The additional charge for parking was kind of lame. I do have to compliment the extra hot shower water though :)

Cockroaches

In middle of DTSD.Surrounded by really nice hotels. Didn’t think it would be so bad. Opened the door of room to see cockroaches scrambling all over. Went back to demand another room (reservation was non refundable or we’d have left). Non smoking room had cigarettes burn marks, carpet in hotel hallways full of stains , the place smelled and the place obviously runs some special “party/night services”. Lady at desk was nice and accommodating as much as possible. Grabbed some packing blanckets from car and slept on them on top of bed. This place was trash, disgusting, dirty, old, smelly, and full of these night characters. Left as early morning as could. Was even scared to use their shower or take off my clothes…

Very Very Very Poor Condition

Reeked of cigs, mold in the shower, stains on the door, one bed sheet, stains on ceiling, AC wasn't working. One of the worst rooms i have ever been in. I did not even stay one night. Front desk worker was luckily very understanding and refunded me so i could find another hotel to stay

Got the job done for our weekend stay. Horrible area in SD. Their parking lot runs out of space, so you might need to park on the street in an unsafe environment. Staff is friendly though.

Upset by cleaning crew opening the door before

I didnt like the fact we hadn’t checked which was 10 am and the cleaning person opened the door. I don’t think that’s a good practice that person should have knocked first before opening the door. I am upset. Also it was noisy I don’t know what it was but there appears to be an air conditioner or something real loud. It took me a while to sleep. It was not fun hearing that sound at night.
