This hotel is very well maintained! Hotel grounds and rooms were exceptionally clean and well maintained. Hotel decor is somewhat outdated but the cleanliness made up for it. Staff was friendly and very helpful!

It was in a weird location so we were unsure at first but we honestly had such a nice stay and the hotel was clean comfortable and a great location to get to other parts of SD! We would stay here again!

Clean rooms, bed was comfortable. Deducted one star because of the freeway and train noise. Trains stopped their horns at night thankfully but the planes flying over early in the morning made it impossible to sleep in. AC did not cool down either. If you can sleep through noise, this location is great!

What a delightful place! The rooms were clean and beds comfy. The staff was super helpful. They gave us "local's favorites " restaurants to try and under the radar places to explore. And a free breakfast! We would definitely stay again.

Pros: Quiet, easy to get go. Close to downtown, airport. Friendly and helpful staff. Comfy bed. Free parking. Simple complimentary breakfast so you can quickly get on with your plans for the day. Cons: May see an occasional cockroach. Those are just some highlights but to sum things up, if you're in San Diego to be out and about and to go exploring and then just need a place to sleep and to recharge, this is a prime place to book.

God sent hotel!

We got in town at 1am. My reservation was for the next night. Trip planned a while back and it changed to go a day earlier. The staff helped book a room where other hotels turned my family away at 1am. In desperation, and confirming availability through a 3rd party phone booking, got to the hotel and was said it was full. Yet, front desk staff took care of us the whole weekend. Accommodating a room at 1am, welcome goodies for my kids, tips for the trip, and a shuttle to the train station. Can’t wait to return. The hotel is a crazy, fun maze but they did great showing a map everywhere to help.

Very clean, quiet, and bed is comfortable. Josh was very pleasant and friendly. Old Town was walking distance for dinning, walking and enjoying some entertainment. Will definitely stay here again.
