Awesome deal right by shelter island which is our best spot in San Diego . Point Loma is sedate compared to certain areas but don’t get me wrong there’s a lot of places to eat with fresh seafoods and entertainment. It’s just kinda away from the big crowds . Beach is walking distance and the airport is a hop away . A lot of nature . Ramada room is good . Big comfortable bed , water is soft , coffee and tea in room . Nice air conditioner, microwave , fridge , safe and Dove toiletries . Good continental breakfast with waffles . The only protein you could get is yogurt and milk . I used the gym . It’s functional. I got a good cardiovascular workout. The place is just across from boat rental . This would be a place for us to stay again and again . Liberty station is so close . Love United Sushi 2blocks away.

I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent stay at The Ramada San Diego Airport location from 4/11 to 4/12/2025. Unfortunately, several issues significantly impacted my experience. First, the room was not clean upon arrival (the tile floor was dirty and the bed sheet had an old shoe print on it. I found paint was peeling in many places near the door and the wall meets. Second, the insect screen mesh window was broken, and the air conditioning was emitting a bad odor. And the room was very noisy due to the proximity to the laundromat area in the building, which caused inconvenience during my stay. Finally, the bed frame skirt(?) was covered/made of sheet metal, which we keep hitting with our feet, where it makes a loud, very annoying "gong" sound. I have never seen anything like this at any hotel. I chose Ramada based on its reputation, but this experience did not meet those standards. I kindly request to address these issues.

Definitely a 2 star, run down, but friendly staff

I should have double checked to see if this is a 2 star hotel or 3. We never stay at 2 star hotels. The beds were decently comfortable. The blinds closed. The a/c was fairly loud but worked. The water pressure was decent. The toilet flushed. The staff was friendly. There is a fridge, microwave, and little coffee pot in room. We did not try the outdoor pool. Parking is a bit cramped, but at least it is free. The location was decent. Signs that it is definitely a 2 star: The bathroom is pathetically tiny. The sink area is also tiny. The bed has this dumb metal thing around in on bottom which makes a noise when accidentally bumped into. Elevator is tiny. The hallways have an old carpet and poor paint job. The neighbors were smoking pot and one of them had a yappy dog in room. (One must sign that one will not smoke or have a pet). The breakfast: I mean...not one ounce of protein. There were oatmeal baggies, waffle maker, but no spray, so waffles stuck to thing. Cheerios, frootloops, yogurt, bananas, apples. Sweet packaged floppy rubbish pastries. No peanut butter, no cream cheese. Seriously....it's not that hard to put on a decent breakfast.
