Wyndham Grand Rio Mar Rainforest Beach and Golf Resort offers 270 air-conditioned accommodations with laptop-compatible safes and complimentary bottles of water. Rooms open to balconies. We came to stay for a vacation and to tour the grounds as an option for our wedding next year…and we decided to get married here! It’s a nice size resort with beautiful pools and an incredible beach. And literally everything we ate at all the restaurants was amazing. Roots was the best food and did not disappoint for three dinners! They are renovating so at times the notice was an issue and the carpeting was gross in the hallways, but that is getting replaced soon. We loved our stay and bringing our kids back for Thanksgiving weekend:)

Property was beautiful and peaceful. Not much to do for entertainment besides the pool or walk the beach. Drinks and Food was all really good, a bit expensive. If you are looking for more authentic style food I recommend the local places near the resort. Staff were all very nice and helpful the entire time.

I took my husband and my two teens to Rio Mar. We loved the staff, the food was great especially at Iguanas. The rooms were beautiful and our view of the rainforest was gorgeous. We will definitely be back. I want give special kudos to Ana at the reception. She was always available to answer every question we had and was super hospitable. Also our waitress Leeza at the breakfast buffet. She gave us so many great suggestions, and was so attractive. We are looking forward to coming back.

Very poor cleaning! Rooms, isles, pools, common areas - dirt everywhere. We’ve stayed for 1 week - floor is the room has never been vacuumed, linens never changed, water never refilled. A glass broke in the isle between rooms - glass hasn’t been removed (4 days). I realize pools are hard to keep clean, but there were insects, leaves, bend aids, straws etc. floating on the surface - haven’t seen anyone trying to remove this trash. By the end of the day, the trash bins were overloaded and smelled really bad. The staff was amazing but slow, we loved kids activities, bar and life music. Overall nice experience but needs some upgrades.

The management helped me out by taking photos for my engagement for free it was unbelievable. They were all so nice and were ready to jump at any request. The beach is basically a private beach there’s never more then 20 people out there it’s an incredible experience I would recommend the Wyndham to everyone. I hope more people come and stay there and help get the island back to the way it was before the hurricane.

Our stay at Wyndham Grand Rio Mar was amazing! The resort is perfectly located between the beach and El Yunque, offering stunning views and easy access to nature. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the pools were great for both kids and adults, and the beach was peaceful and beautiful. Dining on-site was delicious, and the staff made us feel truly welcome. A perfect mix of relaxation and adventure—we can’t wait to come back!
