The staff was totally fine. Check in went well, check out too. The room however was absolutely disgusting. It was filthy, like it had never been cleaned. There was a layer of dust over the lamps, headboards, and walls. There was hair in the bed and sink. We found insects on the walls and floor. Underneath the bed was also covered in a layer of dust and we found trash under there too. The sheets on the bed were not only dirty, but so thin and had holes as well. This place is not kept up at all!

Overall cleanliness; there was what appeared to be dried blood in the ceiling and stains on the blankets. The bed is very uncomfortable - it squeaks and has no real support. Was not as loud as i thought it was going to be - so there was a plus. Heavy smell of chemicals.

Cockroaches and a rude staffperson. I got in late (prearranged) and had a nice staff member help, went into the room and about a half hour in, realized that there was movement under my bag. I lifted it and a bunch of cockroaches went scurrying out from under the bag, then more scurried across the desk. I looked at the nightstand, then, and realized there were cockroaches on the spoon I had just set down. I took a photo. Went to the front desk to change rooms (it was quite late and I didn't want to change hotels if possible). I told the front desk staffer that there were cockroaches, and he just looked at me and repeated, "Roaches?" He didn't say another word to me. He silently pushed a card for a new room at me. That room didn't have roaches but I was up half the rest of the night. I asked for a refund the next day; no dice. Expedia has reached out to them multiple times and they have refused. I think this is the first time I've posted a negative review about a small business, but wanted to warn people away.

Room was clean, love that they have balconies. Wish they provided an extra blanket in the room for comfort, especially with the cold weather now. I asked for a room with a bathtub but unfortunately they said they didn’t have any available. Would recommend and would stay again.

Towels had a stain and the beds had dust and dander underneath the beds like they didn’t even sweep or dust correctly. I’m not going back and on top of it people kept up the family with their smoking and yelling outside. Not ever going back to Aloha Inn and definitely didn’t feel the aloha spirit. Why are you guys letting these people own these hotels???

The rooms was ok, but under the beds there was a lot of garbage and dust. If you improve the cleaning services I will give you better review. It would be a plus if you offers hot water (te or coffee) at nights and free cookies.

Several problems. First, I asked for no housekeeping. 3 times they entered when I asked 3 times for them not to. They don't even have do not disturb signs. Next, the hot water went out, was out all day. Very inconvenient. They apparently never defrost the little freezers, and it was so caked up with ice that I could barely put anything in it.
