The area was nice and convenient. Only bad thing was the beds were not comfortable at all and the pillows as well. Woke up everyday feeling like poop. Other than that. Place was clean and it was quiet around the area as well.

Lots of noise. Pickup trucks coming and going. A couple of 20 year olds loitering outside in the parking lot. Police cars came on 5th street to talk to a guy with their lights flashing. Just not a place I would stay at again. This is my second visit. Not good.

You get what you pay for. Not the cleanest, and some things don’t work, but those things can be overlooked for the price. Not a family vacation spot, but a place to sleep for a night.

"Harry", the proprietor, is a really nice guy. The place is quiet and well located in Grover Beach. Only problem is the heating unit comes on very loud and intermittently throughout the night. They are nice enough to provide ear plugs, but a quieter unit or one where you could leave the fan always on would be better. Nice property and good people, though.

I love how it’s so close to the Amtrak station and the Oceano Dunes state beach. I also love how close it’s to bus #21 to Pismo Beach! I don’t like the road closures in both directions on West Grand Street due to construction. The bus does not stop on West Grand and north 6th Street due to street closure in both directions.
