It was a 2 nights trip. Property is on a main road. The main (front) parking was completely full with an extra car blocking others, right in front of the office/reception area. Had to park on the street.
When going to the room saw a worker on a stepladder drilling above our door, pushing cable inside. There was lots of drywall dust and wood shavings on the floor when we opened the door.
He asked to come inside and vacuum with an upright house vacuum. No shop vac, no English speaking when I asked what’s all that. Felt I was at a jobsite.
It was our 20 yr anniversary. Not happy!
Both nights we were woken up around 4:30am from someone loading and unloading a pickup truck at the back parking area. The window by the bed is facing that area- and all the noise at 4;30am.
Very upsetting!
Room , besides cleaning the drywall dust at arrival, was clean.
There was a tiny kitchen with really old cabinets, countertop and a tiny cooktop.
Good small fridge with freezer, a few plates and few dull knives.
Bathroom was clean and updated. There was a gas fireplace but we never used it.
I had never seen solid pull down window blackout shades with coastal pictures printed on them!
Overall, I will never go there again. There are other better options in the area.
