This hotel is poorly maintained, as in they don't have a Maintenace department and/or they lack the skills and money to take care of it. Also, the hall window was open all night banging in the wind. No window screens and a kid could fly right thru it. Clueless management.

Top notch staff!

This is a nice budget friendly hotel that felt like home. The facility is a little older but the staff is top notch and the room was clean and free of odors. Friendly staff called my room after I arrived to see if I needed anything. There were nice amenities available like a dvd library and cooking appliances.

My husband and I love staying at The Candlewood Suites. The staff is very helpful and very polite. They are always eager to answer any questions or assist you in anyway. The rooms are spacious and very clean. They even have a wonderful dog walking area and barbeques you can use upon request. I strongly recommend staying at The Candlewood Suites Santa Maria, CA

Very quiet even though it's very close to 101. Parking was never an issue. The rooms are very spacious and cozy. My only complaint was the water pressure in the shower was a little rough. Will definitely be back!
