Overall would recommend and would return. Pro’s: Staff, bed, cute decor, thoughtful snack bar purchase options, location to beach, boardwalk and restaurants, light breakfast was fresh and delicious, very busy but quiet and peaceful property, sun deck overlooking ocean fun, big shower! Request a refrigerator if needed (not standard in the room). Slight Con’s: King room a bit small for 2 with luggage and supplies for a several day stay, we had power issues charging all the electric devices, floor sticky, parking lot small for large vehicles, and the big shower is not enclosed and splashes water on floor.

Wonderful stay at Cambria Beach Lodge, very comfortable rooms, loved being beachfront. Quick trip to Hearst Castle and elephant Quick trip viewings. Daily breakfast was very nice. Beautiful sunsets on the terrace.

There are so many cute perks and personal feel to this place. The owner and staffs make the experience memorable from the kombucha at check-in (or sparkling wine if VIP), delicious pastries at breakfast, or saltwater taffies at check-out. Cozy, coastal-design rooms and shared areas. Right across from the moonstone beach and the boardwalk.

The stay was great. The combinations are a little outdated. There’s no coffee maker in the rooms. There’s no microwave and there is no refrigerator. We have to walk across to the office to get our morning coffee and then walk back to the room and then around and around and around and my husband is ADA so that was kind of a bother but it’s a lovely hotel and it’s right across from the water. you couldn’t ask for a better location

Love this property. Few steps away from Moonstone Beach Board Walk. Very clean and nice decor. Front desk service was great. Friendly and provided information of where to dine and what to explore. Enjoyed the continental breakfast. Great coffee.

The staff at this property are very personable, helpful, and knowledgeable about the region (restaurants, wineries etc). The location is wonderful for beach access and ocean views. They’ve taken what looks to have been a basic Inn, and elevated it to a cute boutique Inn. There are 2 EV chargers. The continental-style breakfast has good coffee & fresh bakery breads. There are cute spaces to sit and read, watch the ocean, sunsets, etc.

Hidden Gem in Cambria

Our experience with Cambria Beach Lodge was great. Front desk staff is extremely nice. Rooms were spacious and nicely decorated. We enjoyed the bike ride and sunset view. The lodge is looking at the ocean but not the rooms. This is a hidden gem in Cambria.

I loved my stay here, it was so clean and nicely decorated. I loved having the sheltered roof to enjoy the ocean without all the wind. The staff was always super kind and I liked that they gave you a map of the surrounding area.
