I would have given a 5 star except for the shower which was the minus factor. The water pressure was too low and the faucet was hard to handle. Otherwise everything especially the customer service was excellent.

Room 300 is our favorite spot with a great patio overlooking Moonstone Beach. However, the room could use a couple of safety improvements. First, a rail or bar or grip of some kind to help older guests up/down the two big steps to/from the bathroom. And, in that room, a chair or bench next to the shower. There’s plenty of space. That’s it! Thanks for a great weekend!

Quick Stop in Cambria

We had two rooms on the front of the hotel. We could hear the ocean all night and it was so soothing. Bedding comfortable. Very nice bathroom - I liked that the mirror and vanity were separate from the bathtub/shower and toilet.

Very nice room with ocean views. The real problem was the keys to the rooms are very unreliable. They never work on the first try, and sometimes it takes several tries or it doesn't work at all. Because there is no one there in the evenings, it can be a real problem if you are you trying to get in after hours.

Location is great with ocean view from select rooms. Easy access to surrounding beach areas. Nice (unrelated) restaurant next-door. Room was good size but access to staff was very limited. TV didn't work and option to text for assistance didn't help due to limited wifi. Unfortunately first floor beach view room upgrade was blocked by cars parked on the road -- But that's a learning step at our end. Would have loved coffee in the lobby available before 9 AM. Be prepared to find a coffee shop for breakfast. Great little town.

Pros: Cross from Moonstone Beach, room and lobby clean. Cons: no AC- room was 80 degrees when we checked in and there’s no way to cool it down other than to open the windows. Once open you hear all the noise from the restaurant next door as well as the road. Difficult to sleep with so much noise. Another con is that there is no staff working overnight. So, if there was an emergency, there’s no one there to help. That was concerning to me because I was traveling with an elderly person and a child. Front door was supposed to be locked after 8pm because there was no one working at the hotel, but the door was not locked. Seems like a safety issue. Probably would not stay here again, mostly related to the safety concerns as well the room temperature issue.

The room was very large and spacious, updated and well kept. The bed and pillows were really comfortable. Our room window was facing the parking lot of the restaurant parking lot so I did not want to sleep with the windows open so it did get very warm at night. They don’t have AC in the room (or I just never found the thermostat) I requested a fan which they gave me, it helped a lot but it was quite dirty and dusty. No big deal. The jacuzzi was nice and we had it to ourselves. This location is beautiful, across the street from the wooden walking path.
