Great ocean view

Nice grounds with outdoor fire pits and good view from the Kings Row room. The rooms are looking warn and are in need of repair and paint.

My husband and I appreciate how dog friendly it is here and the rooms are nice with good amenities. We were disappointed that we reserved an ocean view room, and found that while it faced the ocean, the view was obscured by a tree/bush when we sat on the patio. You had to stand and look over it to be able to see the ocean. Also the rooms had some peeling paint.

Weekend get away with my wife.

The cavalier inn was amazing. The staff were friendly and always helpful. I cannot wait to take my wife back there. Even the cavalier restaurant was equally amazing.

Booked the ocean front balcony for Valentines and went to Hearst Castle with my husband. My husband said the staff was amazing, I had to call 3x to request my promised bottle of wine. I mean if you like outdated hotels this is for you. Nothing against the place, I’m just a 5* resort kinda gal who loves ocean front but the one you can swim in. I guess I figured booking the most expensive hotel in the town would get me the best. I loved the firepit and games on the sand with volleyball. I would stay here again and bring my kids because it was quiet and it is the best hotel in this town.

A Bit Old and musty, not up to today's standards, that's the way the owners like it we were told, you are there for the sites, but when you do come back to your room, you would like to be up to today's amenities unfortunately they aren't, Not super important to have proper working TV or a fridge, or a decent shower, especially when you get the Deluxe room at that price. First thing you see is the 70s when you walk in. which isn't a bad thing it was still comfortable. We still enjoyed our stay but we'll choose a different place next time. Thanks
