Positives: room was clean and updated. Negatives: shower amenities pump out a 1/4 tsp of product at a time. Fine, whatever. Room tidying only seems to happen upon request. Ok, but maybe let us know that in advance, or have a note about that in the room. Electric charger spots taken by gas cars. Is no one making sure this doesn’t happen? The closest charging station is Morro Bay. Guests are either loud in the morning or the walls are thin. Check in after 9 is 10 minutes away. It would have been nice to know this so we could have gone there first. The pool and hot tub were closed by order of the health department. Gross. We will not be back.

Location is perfect. We did not receive breakfast. The pool and jacuzzi were both closed. They should let guests know. They’ll be out of service for some months.

The breakfast wasn’t included due to going through Expedia. Wendy was rude about going through Expedia and would not even help me with a mistake that was made in scheduling. She really shouldn’t be in hospitality. Doug knew something was up because he stayed to witness this interaction and let his colleague continue to be rude!

The Inn was cute and quint. Perfect pet friendly place to stay. Outdoor fire pits were on upon arrival. Nice, warm seating area to unwind. Overall loved it! Only problem was electricity went out at about 7:30am but came back up around 9:00.

There were no designated areas for pets or smokers. I know smoking is not favored in Cambria, but most hotels have designated areas for pets and smokers. Also, the bed was terrible, hard as the floor.

Very impressed with how clean it was, and the employees were very friendly. Very walkable to the beach, and close proximity to the town. TVs also had great channels and access to Netflix. Rooms were very spacious and the front office had complimentary cookies, coffee, and tea.

Very rude staff. The booking said breakfast included. When I asked front desk about it was told since I booked thru 3rd party we didn’t get breakfast.Next night went down the street and stayed at Sand Pebble Inn, booked thru 3rd party again and breakfast was included. Went up the entire coast of CA booking thru 3rd party and got breakfast at everyone one except the Sea Otter Inn. Pretty bad considering how much the room cost!!!

Choose another site.

The room was clean. Decor seemed dated. Was not expecting to see so many guests with pets. Did not appeal to me as I do not like pets indoors. We were sitting outside on the little patios with fire pits. Person at front desk walked right by us and lit other fire pits for other guests and never did so for us. Tried opening window for ventilation and it kept sticking and never was able to reopen or totally close it. Room stuffy. Will try other facilities in same area. Will not rebook for this site.
