When we checked in after midnight, the front desk clerk was very helpful and friendly but when i asked for clarification on the elevstor location, a second male employee told me to shut up and go to my room. I felt threatened and my wife and i and two grand children all stayed in the room thst night intil we wete sure he was gone the next morning.

Staff was friendly. Hotel was very run down and dirty. We had to clean off some sort of red stuff all over the bathroom door. Trim was caked with dust and dirt. This hotel is in need of a deep clean and renovations. Lots of better options in that area.

It was ok. The fountain outside was nice and reminiscent of better days. The inside was old-looking but not terrible. The coffee machine was broken the whole time i was there and the room had a musty smell. The bathroom floor had hair all over it the first night. But they cleaned it up on day 2.

Just okay for how pricey it was

This is our third stay here, but first time in their suite with 4 beds that can sleep up to 8 people. The beds were double beds, not like the queen beds in the other rooms we've booked before. The beds were uncomfortably hard. They were like sleeping on the floor. The room had 4 bath towels in it, yet sleeps 8. I shouldn't have to go down to the front desk at midnight when we got to our room to ask for more towels, sleeps 8 should have 8 in room. Breakfast was ok as usual. Wish they would vary the breakfast and offer bacon vs sausage and have some other options.

Need better cleaning, pillows, and maintenance.

The cleaning needs to be much better. Good certainly benefit from using the edging tool of a vacuum to get where the vacuum doesn’t reach. There was a build up of hair, dust, dirt, and even a dead bug. Also saw 2 short curly hairs in tub on the ledge where I was going to set my shampoo. Need new pillows. We had 4 on each bed that was so thin and filled with bunched up balls of stuffing. Very uncomfortable. The oddest part about our stay was that it seemed there was a missing floor board almost the entire length of our room that was covered up by the carpeting. Each time I stepped there, my foot would sink down like a piece of fabric draped over a hole. It was in the main walkway of the room, so it was unavoidable.

Wonderful stay

Very nice hotel. I was really impressed with how clean the rooms were. The front desk person was very friendly. We didn’t use the pool because we got in late from a busy day at Cedar Point but we did go look at it and it seemed very clean. Overall, a very pleasant stay. Will definitely stay again.

This is my go to place in the Sandusky area. Rooms are clean, front desk staff are helpful, free breakfast and they are typically priced better than other local hotels.

This hotel is definitely dated and not that clean. I wouldn’t stay here again. Also… don’t keep your room key anywhere near your phone or it will demagnetize.

Nice place.

Very nice room. Nice towels. Didn't swim in the pool but it looked fine. I was looking forward to the warm therapy pool [we had stayed here before] and instead the jets were broken so it wasn't warm. Breakfast was ok. Freat service. Short distance from Cedar Point.
