Firstly, the staff seemed nice. However, there were just a number of things that were off. The office wasn’t clearly marked, knocked on a number of doors and ended up having to call for them to open up. The room had a dirty towel and dirty underwear in the closet. Both rooms had cobwebs in the lamps next to the bed, some of them weren’t plugged in. The shower had mold along the edges where your hands go as you go in and out. The windows haven’t been cleaned in a while as evident by the dead bugs and black specs of something. There is a random door in one bedroom that looks like an emergency exit, but it should have some lock that the guest can use to feel like someone can’t just walk in. Yes, it has a key, but not something that we have but someone else we don’t know. It felt off. It wasn’t clear for the checkout time because it said between 11 and 12 so I went to the office to ask at ~10:05 and they told me it was 10. I was visibly annoyed and said it was between 11 and 12 and they told me it would be fine and that they would clean later. Just say 10, 11 or 12. Don’t give a range. I had called the office many times from my room the night before they closed and no one ever answered me or called me back. The WiFi instructions had the wrong details. No one ever helped. We wore socks the entire time we were there because when you would take a shower and your towel would get on the floor. The towel would turn dark because the floor was dirty. Everyone seemed nice tho.

Group stay Put In Bay

Fun little stay in Put In Bay for a large group. The front desk was very helpful and the location was great. The stairs up to the unit were a little rough, especially in the heat, and more golf cart space is definitely needed.

We booked the comfort suite and had a wonderful stay! The owners went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The property was spacious and clean. The location was perfect. We walked to everything downtown within minutes, yet had a quiet retreat at the end of the day. The patio had beautiful views of the lake and Perry’s Monument to enjoy our morning coffee.

All was clean & well stocked with toiletries, towels & pillows. Walking distance to all of the downtown shops & restaurants. It was nice that the doors had a code rather than a card so all 10 of us girls could come & go as we pleased. Not sure of the reason, but they did upgrade our room at no charge upon arrival. The only complaint I have at all is that the one bed in 2nd floor was very old spring mattress & not comfortable & clearly had a rubber sheet as it made so much noise whenever you moved it could be heard throughout the suite. Other than that it was wonderful.

I love the fact that Rachel, who works in the Harbour Square Suites office, reached out to me via text to welcome me for my stay later that day. She let me know that my room was ready and she even offered a bike, since I was not able to bring mine. I had a great experience from the time I received her message to the time I checked out! Rachel was very sweet and answered any questions I had. I would definitely recommend Harbour Square Suites!!! The room was comfortable, clean and perfect for my stay. I loved the beautiful shower too! Walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Bonus, parking was right near my room. I am already booked to go back in August! Thank you again, to Rachel for your wonderful hospitality!!!

Our suite was located in a convenient spot to downtown shops and restaurants. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room could have been cleaned of cobwebs before our stay. We turned off the air due to black spots located around the vents and on the bed blankets. Venting system could use a clean. Not much in the way of amenities. Definitely a place for the younger generation since our suite was located above the bar. Luckily It was quiet since we stayed during the week and the off-season.

Rachal, the girl who checked us in was incredible. At the hotel we were able to rent a golf cart for much less than other places charged. The place was very clean. Would definitely only stay at this place in the future. The location was excellent. Right in the middle of town an very close to the Jet Express dock.

Spider infestation

I liked the location of the property on the island. Close to Jet Express. The room itself was very humid, musty, and the ceiling was crawling with spiders. I understand there are a lot of spiders on the island, but our room was infested. Also, outdoor speakers started playing music at 5 am right outside our door.
