What a cute boutique hotel!! Super clean and friendly staff. I always stay at big name hotels and this was my first time staying at a boutique place and I was very impressed. Very close to the beach and walking distance to a lot of dinning. We walked to breakfast everyday and we walked to the train station. I would stay here again any day!!

Our stay at the Mason Beach Inn was very pleasant! The rooms were nicely decorated and the staff were so kind! The complimentary coffee and tea, plus cookies and oatmeal, was an extra perk of staying here. The area is also very walkable to State St and the beach. I will definitely stay here again for my next Santa Barbara trip!

Nice stay

I travel a lot…usually with my husband, 2 babies and a dog. However this was a little getaway with my mom, so I was looking to relax. CONS -they advertise black out curtains…they are NOT blackout curtains, git’s bright come morning -stuffy, the AC unit is an old motel looking wall unit and the fan didn’t work (didn’t stay on the whole time) -noisy, you literally hear EVERYTHING…cars driving by, people opening/shutting doors, people walking in the hall -bed, it’s seemed like an old mattress with nice bedding -cleaners were very eager to clean our room -shower in our room never got hot water -pricey PROS -stylish tropical chic decor -smells lovely throughout -pool was chill and relaxing -very clean throughout -complimentary coffee bar and snacks in lobby -complimentary welcome beverage -the front desk girl was friendly and helpful -location
