Sea Breeze on kotimme poissa kotoa. Hyvin hoidettu ja viehÀttÀvÀ 3-kerroksinen mökki sijaitsee kauniissa ja rehevÀn maisemoidussa aidatussa yhteisössÀ Calypso Pointe. MeillÀ on uima-allas ja olemme kÀvelyetÀisyydellÀ rannasta. TÀssÀ kolmen tarinan kodissa on useita kuistia, kalliita laitteita, graniittiset työtasot ja paljon muuta.

PÀÀkerroksessa on iso olohuone, pelipöytÀ, ruokasali, iso, tÀysin varustettu keittiö, jossa graniittiset työtasot ja ruostumattomasta terÀksestÀ valmistetut laitteet. SiellÀ on ruokailutila, johon mahtuu 8, sekÀ toinen pelipöytÀ, johon mahtuu enemmÀn. Aivan ranskalaisten ovien ulkopuolella on katettu ulkouima-alue, jossa on taulutelevisio. Takapiha tarjoaa mukautetun palo kuoppaan ja grilli, on runsaasti istumapaikkoja ja on upea ympÀristö perheille.

TÀssÀ kodissa on 4 makuuhuoneen kerrossÀnky pÀÀkerroksessa, upea pÀÀllikön sviitti, jossa kaksinkertainen turhuus ja iso kylpyamme toisessa kerroksessa. Toisessa on myös vierashuone ja pesula-alue. YlÀkerrassa on parvi katselualue, jossa on ikkunoidut seinÀt, toinen queen-vuode ja sohva, jossa vyöryÀ. Koko perheesi nauttii riittÀvÀsti tilaa.

Jos et ole perehtynyt Santa Rosa Beach 30A -alueeseen, se on vĂ€hĂ€n taikuutta, kun rannikkoyhteisöt menevĂ€t. Stayed here with family. Me, my wife and 4 adults ranging from 19-24. House was perfect for what we were looking for. Not the newest, but well kept, clean and very spacious. Beds were super comfortable and the back yard is great for hanging out in the morning and after a day at the beach. Lastly, the location is great. As advertised it is a 4 minute walk to the beach and you have some decent dining options less than 1 mile away. A few negatives. For those flying in, you will need to bring anything extra with you. There are no beach towels or anything for you to use for the beach i.e., blankets or chairs. This isn't a nock on the house or owner, just beware. Also, we were there after kids in the SE US were back in school, which was great. We pretty much had the beach to ourselves. If you come during the summer just know that, although the beach is close, you have public access to a 20ft wide strip in the middle of two private beaches that are marked off and monitored for violators. We were told that the week before our arrival that that strip was packed with people. Again, not the owners fault or problem, just know that before you book. It looks like it would be a nightmare during peak season. All in all great stay.

Great location, clean home, prompt management responses

Great location and easy acces to beach! Large home, very clean, and the backyard was beautiful. My favorite part was the backyard and back gate exit to get to the beach. This home had everything you needed to enjoy a stay at the beach. Any questions I had, I emailed the management company and they responded very quickly. I will definitely be looking to rent this in the future.

Family trip

Nice property. Well stocked. Nice back yard. Closest beach access is really tight (33 ft wide). We chose to go further down the beach and found more room. Listing indicated tennis, but we could not locate any courts. Also, grill could use some work. Overall pleased with the stay.

Family vacation

The home was very comfortable and roomy for our group of eight. The house was very clean and just a short walk to the beach. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and pots and pans, but no spices or condiments needed for cooking. We enjoyed several nights out on the deck. If there were anything wanting it may be some suggestions for dining or activities in the area.

Family fun!

Great space for a family gathering! Plenty of room to spread out and lots of room to play games at the large table. Super close walk to the beach or to the community pool. Would definitely stay here again!

Nice quiet neighborhood inviting home

This was a nice home that allowed for plenty of room for my family. Very clean and well kept. Just as described. Just an FYI be prepared to bring everything you need for cleaning and any beach equipment or towels. They are not provided. My only complaint didn't have to do with the home but with the beach. There is public access about 5 minutes away but there is only about a 40 foot wide space of access and there was at 100 - 150 people crammed in that space. There are security guards and local beach front home owners that are constantly bullying people to move all their belongings. Even telling people they cant be on the wet sand if in front of their private house. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would probably go back but to a different beach area. Loved that it wasn't in an overly busy area but still close to everything.

Great House in a Great Location

House was clean, spacious and located in a quiet community. Very close to the beach and close to lots of great restaurants and shops of the area. The whole place made us feel at ease and my family and I would definitely come again!

Terrible customer service!

This house was great for the first half of the week. Very nice design, plenty of privacy even for a large family and some recent updates. The management company, however, was a complete nightmare. We were notified that they were going to be installing a new dishwasher (existing one was wonky but still working). After no signs of anyone all day, we figured it was not going to happen. Just before 5pm we were getting ready to cook dinner and a very nice man shows up to replace the dishwasher, closet doors, and new window AC units (several hours of work starting at 5pm?!). He replaced one AC unit and I told him it was not a convenient time for the dishwasher since we were trying to cook dinner. He politely agreed. Little did we know, asking him to leave was a big mistake. The management company called us a few minutes later. We explained that we found this timing to be inappropriate. That’s when they threatened us of “breach of contract” and EVICTION. After a heated discussion, I surrendered to their threats and it took hours for the man to install the dishwasher, finishing around 9:30.The repair man was so nice and trying to just do his job, but the management company’s handling of this was so outrageous.They were more concerned about proving that the contract said they could do this work whenever they want, rather than providing good customer service and compromise. It literally was their way or the highway for our family that night with a Sheriff escort. Unbelievable

Great week at the beach

Our original property had some major deck construction that wasn’t finished in time for our stay. So we were relocated on the day of our arrival to another property in the same complex. It was a little tricky to review the new property and sign the new agreement from the car while already en route but the property company was very accommodating in helping to make sure our stay still happened. (Also pretty sure our new accommodations were more expensive without us having to pay more). Since this VRBO review is probably still going to be associated with the original property that we didn’t stay at, I won’t comment on the house itself (although it was perfect with no issues at all) but will instead simply say kudos to the property mgmt for the good customer service and helping us still have a great week with the kids and extended family!

Vacation 2022

The house is beautiful! The pool was great. Loved the kitchen and all of the pots and pans provided. We enjoyed our stay the beach is a short walk from the house but when you get to the beach access most of it "Private " . There was only a small area for public beach access. It was very crowded! We chose to drive futher down the beach to another public access area.

Nice place to stay

The house itself was very nice and charming and it was only a 5-minute walk to the beach which was very nice!!! The cleanliness of the house upon arrival was not 100%. We were told that certain things would be left in the bathrooms and there was not. There was a lack of hand soap and dish soap etc. Overall it was very pleasant for the nine of us to stay. The property managers were very quick to respond to any concerns or issues that we had and they were addressed very quickly. The pool on site was a very nice feature for when it was too hot or we didn't want to lug all of the kids stuff to the beach it was a nice change of pace. The rooms were very comfortable. The location was perfect and very easy to get to other beach locations and it was just a quick drive to Destin as well. One thing I would recommend for families is to bring a baby gate to block off the steps going upstairs we did not bring one and we constantly had to chase our two year old around to make sure she did not escape up the steps!

Great location, kitchen well supplied and cozy!

We had a great time in our second visit to Destin. Beautiful beach and easy to access. We loved the space of the home (inside & out) & the well stocked kitchen. It was very important to us to be able to cook delicious meals at home. The manager was super accommodating & quick when we brought up some issues (like the need for a safety chain so our little toddler didn’t run out as easily since no deadbolt), I was very impressed & grateful that they put that in within the hour or so from receiving this from us. Furniture could use some updating(esp the shaky bunk beds) but we would definitely stay here again. Again, house was great, location great and great managers.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The house was large and the pictures were representative of the property. The booking contact was extremely nice and attentive and a joy to work with. The walk to the beach is a bit strange coming from a boardwalk that exits behind a convenience store. 30A is a very busy road to cross on foot so use caution if you have kids. Local condos were very protective of their beaches and not too much public beach area directly across the street. We rented chairs from a local company and they set us up on a small sliver of beach next to several others that were staying across the street where we were. We were stacked up on top of each other 2 and 3 rows deep most days. The house itself was great, but the beach here and community are just not our cup of tea. There was a day when we went to the pool with our kids and we were lectured by a member of the HOA not to move any of the chairs...which we hadn't....it was an unnecessary conversation but she was letting us know we were only visitors here and not to get too comfortable. The Destin/Santa Rosa Beach area has become so crowded that it makes it tough to get around the area in any decent amount of time. We can say we tried it, but doubt we will return.

Family vacation

House was perfect for us. Kids loved it. The path to the beach behind the house was very beneficial. Carmen was very helpful and answered all our questions. Loved the little neighborhood. We would de stay here again.

We will come back

We had a great time with everything we needed! It is only a few minutes walk to the beautiful beach. So we spend the day over there and in the evening we enjoyed Barbecue in the garden. Afterwards we were sitting around the the fireplace with our kids. Thank you for everything!

Peaceful and Friendly

Our family had a lovely week at Calypso. It was a very quiet and tranquil area with the beach just a pleasant walk away. The location was incredibly convenient for seeing the local attractions but not touristy at all. We took full advantage of the pool and had a chance to meet several of the residents who were very nice. It was the most relaxing vacation we’ve taken. The house was well supplied with every amenity and having the kids on the first floor was great. We grilled outside a few evenings and the outdoor seating area was perfect. We have told our friends and family how perfect a time it was and we will very likely look to repeat next year.
