Our room smelled of and had wet paint. The floor was not clean. There was a roach-like bug in the bathroom. They didn’t provide enough towels. Everything was dingy but it looks like they’re trying to update parts of the room. The beds were uncomfortable and creaked so loudly. It’s a motel so we were awoken to car alarms twice and other loudness in the parking lot. The continental breakfast is minimal and can’t be taken out of the lobby. Only stay here if you’re desperate.

Disappointing stay.

Holes, cigarette burns in linens. Broken luggage rack. No cribs at all despite listing on hotels.com. Hot water took several minutes to heat. Floor was dirty. High chair in breakfast area was dirty. I was only allowed the exact number of towels for people in the room after asking (room had 2 towels to start). Not family friendly.

Terrible service and room. Stay away!!!

Worst experience ever. I changed rooms once because the room was dirty to go to another room that was equally bad. The the front desk said they would honor the refund and when I left they denied it from hotels.com. I had a coworker in a separate room and she received a refund and I did not. Her room was equally terrible.

This a less expensive property and it is commensurate with the price paid. A bus is very close by for an inexpensive ride into the historic area, this is very convenient.

We ended up leaving after check in because the room smelled like cigarette smoke, and there were stains on the comforter and pillows. I made the mistake of booking a non-refundable rate through Expedia. Will never make that mistake again.

very unclean / cant recommend

Gotta be honest because they took so much of my money: the room was totally dirty, had some sort of juice stains through out, hadnt been mopped in a long time, and all the surfaces were unclean as well. I had to go buy disinfectant wipes. When the houskeeping workers came to give me (stained and funky) towels I asked them if they were gonna clean the floor. They literally tried to tell me the floor wasnt stained and "just looks like that" (lol). To demonstrate how wrong I was, one of them started scraping the stain with his shoe. The stain then rubbed off and he then looked a bit embarassed and looked at the rest of the floor. He then admitted it hadnt been cleaned. So it was icky enough that I didnt want to even stay there for one night. I went to inquire about a refund since I hadnt unpacked my bags. The check in person working at night was very friendly. She said she was worried the room had been cleaned gave a partial refund. I was only given back $92 and the room was a whopping $252 total for both nights, which is thievery for a room in that condition. When I got up in the AM and checked out, the person working desk was super rude and yelled at me when I asked if I could review the refund that previous check in worker had initiated. I just dont think this hotel cares about the rooms. I thnk the owners just want money, and are fine with the rip off so long as they are getting money. This kind of scammy stuff is something prevalent in Savannah so watch out!

Hotel was very friendly and respectful. They even remembered me from my last stay. I like to fact that their renovating the hotel but noticed that work was done in the day time not to disturb thee guest. Thank you for another great stay. See y'all soon

Expected better

It’s ok, not as nice as I expected. The front desk Lady was great and very friendly. She provided extra towels and a new hairdryer for our room because the one in our room was broken. This is a Motel and looks like they have recently remodeled it. They are still doing work around the property. It was pretty noisy, you can hear everything outside and beside you. They do have a pretty good amount of parking and the parking lot is well lit. The microwave and refrigerator in our room were outdated. Refrigerator doesn’t get very cold. Microwave worked but looked nasty inside. The air conditioner/heater did work and kept the room cool during the day and warm at night. The WiFi worked off & on. Room could have been cleaned better. The bedding on both beds were stained. Beds are ok, a little hard. Needs more updating. Reminds me of a very old Motel.
